Walked over from the Hyatt, based on recommendation from concierge. The first impression was superb, beautiful decor, nice table. Then, we started to notice the beginnings of the subpar service. There was nobody in the restaurant, yet it took our waiter 30 minutes to even aknowledge our presence. Once the food came, it just didn't taste fresh, more like heated up frozen food. The spring rolls were super bland, although, again, beautifully presented and plated. Fondue was a disaster, they should really not attempt to make this for anyone anymore.
Dessert was blah, the bill was more than we expected.
Overall, I am certain that there are better places to eat in Merida.
