“Very good Argentinian style beef...”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Located in the new part of Merida, Yucatan, we found a small Argentinian style restaurant specialized in... of course, beef. The service is very good, the premises are very alike the Estancias (haciendas) at the Pampas, and of course, the various beef cuts offered are excellent with a very affordable price tag. Wine selection is good and the house wine is fresh and enjoyable. One drawback... they don't accept, so far, credit cards so carry enough cash to pay this good meal.

“Check the hours before you go”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

I can't speak to the qualtiy of the food or service because we went there two nights in a row, excited to try the food only to find it closed. Both nights we had to take a taxi there and back (about 120 pesos round trip). We went on Sunday evening and again on Monday evening, both times around 7pm. Both times it was CLOSED! We were upset and disappointed. It is in a hard to find area. Neither of our taxi drivers had heard of it, and had a difficult time finding it, adding to our frustration. I have no idea what there hours supposedly are. We will not bother going back a third time.

“We loved it!”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

We ordered the cowboy steak, cordero (lamb) and the veal. Everything was excellent! I believe each was under $20. The bottle of malbec we had was like $30. WARNING cash only. Also be aware you might have to wait, we were lucky and did not. They are working on outside seating which might be done by now certainly by end of May which should eliminate some if not all the seating issues. If we had some extra time we would have gone again!

“A piece of Argentina in Merda”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

Great food, good wine and a very nice ambiance. If you want to try something different than Mexican, this is a good choice.

“Great steaks”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

I'm from Denmark, and I've never had steaks this good in my home country. My favorite steak (Corizo, something like Rib Eye) costs 175 pesos (14 USD) which I consider very cheap for a fantastic steak.
