The sushi I’ve had here would be in my all-time sushi top-5. Quick, professional service, reasonable prices and, once again, just amazing sushi!

Miyabi is probably the best Japanese restaurant in Merida, and this location at Prolongación Paseo de Montejo is conveniente and it is really nice. My favorites are the Sashimis, specially Hamachi.

The food quality is number one, service is very good and the atmosphere very nice. Parking is just outside which is a great advantage.

We really enjoyed this japanease restaurant with a twist from Yucatan ingredients added to the Mérida culinary scene. The place is gorgeous with a covered open air dining area as well as an air conditioned room with about 10 tables and a sushi bar. It’s usually full so reservations are recommended. My favorite was the “Conch sashimi” which is a totally different seafood that is unique to the Caribbean which eaten raw has a sweeter and more meaty consistency to similar mollusks found around the world. They have traditional sushi nigiri as well as rolls with a local twist which were also good. They do have a series of wok fry with chicken, meat, seafood, as well as rices but their forte is the seafood.

Finally made it here and were totally impressed with the atmosphere, the staff, THE FOOD! Definitely high end, very fresh sushi and more. The menu is available in Spanish and English and that was great since there were so many dishes to choose from. Wines are available as are Japanese beers, etc.
Each of us ordered a different appetizer - my salmon rolls without seaweed or rice were incredible and numerous enough to share (8). Friends ordered the dumplings and pronounced them awesome. Other friend ordered the teppanyaki with shrimp and had enough for two meals. We ordered the mixed tempura - mouthwatering and plentiful.
Save room for the desserts like red bean ice cream or tempura ice cream with chocolate! WOW!!
