We were just in this hotel, and and loved it. The staff was helpful, and it has a beautiful pool and bar areas. Rooms were nice. The breakfast was also pretty great. Not included in our rate, but inexpensive and in a gorgeous court yard. We got a complementary drink, which was a mild tequila sunrise, but still a very nice gesture. Other reviewers comment on the crosses in the rooms, and yes, if you find that creepy it may bother you. But it is built on the site of an old convent, and its the "theme" of the hotel. It is also common in Mexico. We are not religious, and found it cool. You are also located just a couple of blocks from the main square, walking distance to the market, many restaurants and sights. If you are into colonial Mexico, its a great location.

This hotel is located conveniently close to restaurants and the main square. It is a charming hotel, super clean, convenient and most importantly, friendly, helpful, staff always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The hotel is charmingly decorated, rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Has a/c in each room. Conveniently priced. Strongly recommend

We stayed at the hotel for three nights on July. It is a wonderful hotel very close to the center of the city but at the same time far from any noise. The staff is friendly and kind willing to respond and help you in any question you have. Especially in reception mr Armando was very helpful. Breakfast was very satisfying and of good quality. Our room was clean, simply decorated with big and comfortable beds. If we come back to Merida we will definitely stay again in this hotel.
