This hotel is located conveniently close to restaurants and the main square. It is a charming hotel, super clean, convenient and most importantly, friendly, helpful, staff always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The hotel is charmingly decorated, rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Has a/c in each room. Conveniently priced. Strongly recommendMore

Wonderful hotel, great people
We stayed at the hotel for three nights on July. It is a wonderful hotel very close to the center of the city but at the same time far from any noise. The staff is friendly and kind willing to respond and help you in any question you have. Especially in reception mr Armando was very helpful. Breakfast was very satisfying and of good quality. Our room was clean, simply decorated with big and comfortable beds. If we come back to Merida we will definitely stay again in this hotel.

Atmospheric
Beautiful courtyards; the hotel is an old house that still has loads of original features. The staff, especially in the restaurant, were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. The pool is ample for the hotel and the kids had a whale of a time swimming. Very well located near the main square.

It is all about location
Great centro location and was certainly worth the money for a medium priced hotel.
Our room adjoined the locker where all the staff equipment was kept so lots of banging and clanking in the morning. Wall mount airconditioner sounded like a decrepit jet engine but certainly cooled the room. The breakfast staff was very average until we generously started tipping on the free included breadfast and then they became super waiters. We got very average service and accommodations for average payment, so no major complaints Breakfast was excellent.

Good location, a bit scary crosses!
I was say that the hotel was ok. We had the room right at the entrance, on the right hand side of the fountain. The room was clear but the bed was extremely small, for sure not for 2 adults! Another disadvantage was that the AC was super laud and the reception people were not really willing to check it. Apart from that, the breakfasts were rather poor, nothing special to be honest and no menu to choose the options so in the end you have no idea what's available. The location of the hotel was perfect and indeed you can feel the 'special atmosphere' there however the huge cross above our bed which was making even bigger shadow was a bit scary!

Has character and good location
This is definitely a characterful spot and well placed for the city centre. Rooms are spacious enough ( we had two) but bathrooms quite small (we had shower only sadly).
Breakfast was a bit regimented. I had no complaints about the staff , they were helpful enough, but perhaps could do with being a little warmer / friendlier.
The religious icons in the rooms may not be to everyone's taste, but do reflect the property's history.
