Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always there and ready to help us with anything we need. The staffs were also able to give us directions every time we asked. Would come and stay again !

This was our first time to this hotel and we plan to return. It has so many features for your stay, private small bar, amazing veranda, wonderful salt water pool, spa for those needed massages, pool tables, fantastic restaurant with courtyard seating along with space for meetings and large groups. The lobby really sets the mood, marble floors and large columns throughout. The room was very nice, though not the highest end, the beds were great. The bathrooms were clean, as with the rest of the room. There is an in-room safe should you need it, and plenty of open spaces to just relax. I don't know the soap they use for the towels, but it really is so pleasant and adds to the overall experience. It really is the little things.

Room tip: Our room faced the pool, which is the North end of the hotel away from roads and parking.

We were given a couple of room choices initially which were not good - air-conditioning didn't work one of them and were finally reallocated a room which was comfortable. The exterior and lobby of the hotel gives one the impression that it is more than a mid-range property. However, the access to the rooms upstairs are through open corridors - like a motel - and it can be very hot and humid in the afternoons in Merida. The rooms are clean but lack any luxuries. Breakfast was quite good with many choices. The staff are service oriented and very keen to help to sort out any issues - which is wonderful

This hotel can be hard to find with no clear signage but it is a hidden gem! The rooms were beautiful, clean and cool. Staff were friendly and spoke perfect English. Pablo was very helpful with my bags and gave me great advice for exploring the area on my own.
I wish my stay was longer!

Spent 2 night at the hotel. If you are looking for a place to sleep and you don’t care about anything else then it will fit your needs. If you do care about customer service and hygiene I would suggest you to go elsewhere.

At the arrival we were given a room with single beds (booked room with double bed). Excuse was that there were no other rooms clean but after complaining they were able to find one (surprisingly in 2 minutes). The rooms in hotel are very spacious but outdated.

Second day at the bar the waiter tried to overcharge us (by 27%). When pointing this out to him he tried to justify his behaviour with the fact that prices in the menu are outdated...

Second day we also had quite some rain. As result there was water coming out of the air conditioning while making bubbling noises (it was flooding our room).

Finally the hygiene is way off... There are mold and rust stains in the bathroom and bedroom and the shower drain is not covered by a usual metal grid (was basically just a hole in the floor).

All the above is very upsetting since it definitely had an impact on our Mérida experience. Cry out to hotel manager/owners to improve since the hotel definitely has its charm (very pretty colonial style patio).

I am adding pictures to proof all the above mentioned things.

PS: thanks to Jonathan for the friendly service :).
