This is one hotel chain that does it right in Mexico. This hotel is a great choice in Merida, great rooms, great service, great food. Also an excellent value!

We booked Fiesta Americana from priceline, it is about $50/night for a room. Free internet and parking. Clean rooms and close to everything.

The facilities are clean and the hotel is very conveniently located.
The pool area could use a little improvement but if you're looking for tan - the Yucatan sun is the best.
The service and food were outstanding!

excellent location, large room with small French balcony. Good service from front desk staff, concierge, restaurants.

Room Tip: pool facing is quieter. street facing can get a bit noisy

Stayed 3 nights. The hotel is like, inside a small shopping center.

The place is always clean, internet is not free but they give you a courtesy of 30 minutes in the business center. The first floor is the less nicer because there are the cheapest rooms. I recomend to take breakefast or dinner at Sanborns which is inside the shopping center but outside the hotel....this restorant is also typical around Mexico.

If you want to try regional meals you can go to Los Almendros. There is one in the hotel but I recomend the one downtown, just take a taxi and ask to take you there, everybody knows Los Almendros.

The city is very safe, people are so calm, there are always tourist walking around.

To see the sorroundings I highly recomend to rent a car. But is kind of weird to follow the streets...nearby you can reach the pyramids or maybe go and see the Flamingos.
