beautiful old buildings,museums,banking and restaurants
Or just stop for a cup of coffee or a drink. On Friday nights, there is local entertainment on the south end. Or just sit on a bench and watch to scene on the four lane divided street.

It was so much fun to do the mini tour in a Calandria. They take you all along Paseo Montejo so you can admire the beautiful houses and wonder about the families who lived there.

The mansions in this charming avenue were built when Yucatan was a major producer and exporter of hemp.

Very active street we walked it daily, stopped at Starbucks for I morning coffee. We wouldn't walk the distances we had back home. Visually appealing area to meander....looking to eventually buy a home close to the paseo....
Very active for Carnival, we were totally amazed at the bandstands and people...
Sundays they shut down the street for families to bicycle up and down the paseo. There's bike rentals, rent what ever type of bike you could ever want....

We spend a lot of time on Montejo for business and pleasure. it is beautiful, reflecting some of the early architecture and opulance of the city. It is lined with trees and flowers and is very inviting for strolling and seeing art exhibits. It is a comforting location
