“Take your time”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Take your time and walked slowly. Lots of old beautiful buildings. Some are restored and some call for it. Enjoy the stores around.

“I expected more....”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

I really expected more of Paseo Montejo...it does have beautiful mansions but four really stand out and the others get lost in the abundance of businesses that don't integrate with anything really. Like the Hyatt, a plain brown box shaped sky rise that has nothing to do with the architecture of the place.

“Go on a Sunday morning”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

We enjoyed a Sunday when the street is closed and many Mexican families ride their bikes on the street..There are many beaautiful mansions along the street along with good restaurants.

“Not the Champs Elysee”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

It's the place in townwhere all the rich families, hacienda owners, lived at the time of the Green Gold. Today most villas are either banks, offices or museums. Nice place for a walk, a few good restaurants and bars, some shops but not as nice as I expected.
