Adorable little secluded hotel- perfect for a weekend escape. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel beach is average but playa Norte is amazing and just a 5 dollar cab ride from the hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights when we visited the isla mujeres and would definitely recommend. It is located right on the beach which makes it a beautiful setting when the sun is shining. Lovely food in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and offered a great service.

We stayed a week in November, 2013, because one of our RCI deposited weeks was due to expire unless used in November. This resort was the only one on Isla Mujeres with availibility for exchange so we booked it. The all inclusive fee was very reasonable for all of he transportation, amenities, superb food, drinks, top shelf liquors and overall exceptional quality. The staff was very well trained, courteous and professional. Dining was buffets for breakfast and lunch, but with special chef prepared dishes available on request.. Dinners were from the Mexican menu or the special daily Italian or European menus. The dining was very good, definitely fine dining. This an adults only resort, fairly small, 60 or so rooms, so very peaceful and relaxing. The beach is beautiful with views to the west, for beautiful sunsets. We highly recomment this resort.

I am not sure if when we stayed there we were one of the few people staying in this Hotel, but it certainly felt like it.
We loved the room...it was stunning! I took some pictures and I attached it.
The bed was sooooo comfortable and I loved the jet tub in the room as well.
We had scheduled breakfast in bed every morning, which was FANTASTIC! I ordered it the night before and they would bring it to us in the morning...Everything so fresh! If you like smoked Salmon you have to order the smoked salmon omelet! Amazing! My husband and I still talk about it until this day!
the only let down was their restaurant, which had just one, and the food was repetitive for lunch, however dinner was incredible!
The last night we were there we met the chef and he brought us off the menu stuff, which was simply AMAZING! Everything from appetizer to dessert!
The Hotel is fairly small, so it felt cozy! :)
Also, it's very close to the Garrafon Park, which is a MUST SEE! I attached some pictures! :)

I did not stay here, but I visited with a group of agents. It's an adults only, couples only all-inclusive resort. It's a small, boutique resort with only 62 rooms--all standard rooms. One thrid of the resort has ocean view, another third has partial ocean view, and the rest are resort view.
You can buy the entire resort out for $60,000, with a 3 night minimum, and kids are welcome during a buy out. The resort would be great to buy out for a private wedding.

You have to get there on the Ferry in Cancun, and it's 140 pesos each way, OR you can reserve a complimentary yacht for up to 10 people, and they will bring you right to pier at the property (24 hrs. prior reservations required).

The resort is on the west side of the island, so you get beautiful sunsets! Sunset wedding anyone?!

There's 1 Pool, 1 Restaurant, and 2 bars.
Breakfast & Lunch: Buffet,
Dinner: A La Cart

It may be too small and quiet for some guests, but others want a hideout on their vacation.

Make sure you get a mudslide...they were delicous!

Overall we had a nice vacation, but there were a lot of little things that added up to feel disappointed in our choice of this resort. The room: Our room was nice and overlooked the pool. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the stocked mini bar was a bonus. We had a couple issues right away, the faucet leaked and the air conditioner made a consistent tapping sound. We reported it to the front desk and both issues were resolved very quickly. The food: lunch and breakfast buffet was quite repetitive. Breakfast was what you find at any all inclusive, but exactly the same everyday. The only change was that they had a juice of the day. They ran out of bacon on our second day. I played the game I entitled 'salad search" daily to try and make a salad at lunchtime. Nothing was together, salad in one area, veggies scattered all around, dressing in another spot. They ran out of tomatoes. Grilled items at lunch were often very good, but unless you inquired about what was available it went unnoticed. The snack area had a pizza oven and the pizza was good. Dinner was nice. The food was presented beautifully and tasted good as well. There is only one restaurant for dinner but the menus rotated. It was also somewhat repetitious, but for us there was enough selection to be satisfied. Room service was a nice touch and the menu had good selections. It was always delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Staffing: It was hard to determine if the resort was understaffed or if there was no direction of where the staff should be. It was not uncommon to sit at a bar for several minutes before someone would show up to make drinks. The bartenders seemed to "disappear". Once present, both Dario and Eddie, made good drinks and fulfilled all requests. We did not like that "last call" was always before the scheduled bar closing of midnight. Understandable if no one was around, but even if people were in the area, socializing and drinking, it would close. The employees were all very friendly. Wilma was our favorite. Drink service on the beach and poolside was hit or miss. One day we had service all day, the remainder of the week it was very sparse. Entertainment: Apparently there is an "I" in "team" as Jose was the entire entertainment team. He did a good job at inviting guests to join in the few activities available to him. On a rainy day they had Wii available and also played movies. There are water bikes and kayaks available. There was a nice Caribbean show one night. Resort structure: We had one day in which it rained the entire day. The staff could not keep up with keeping water off of the floors. It was really slippery and we witnessed two people taking nasty falls. This obviously was not a first time situation as a lot of the tiles throughout the resort were loose. The front desk and computers had to be covered with plastic bags to try and keep them dry. Bathrooms must have been an after thought when designing the layout of this resort. There was one bathroom by the pool and one in the parking lot off of the lobby area. If you were dressed up at dinner and it was raining there was no bathroom to access without going into the rain. You either got wet or went upstairs to use your room bathroom. There is no air conditioning in the restaurant area or in any public area. The only air conditioning is in your room. This was not a problem for us, but I could see how it could be quite uncomfortable for some people, especially in the summer months when the temps and humidity would be much higher compared to this time of year. Pricing for "extra" things in the resort seemed very inflated. Many guests have "credits" to use for extra things. We did not have a plan that included this and found the pricing to be out of range. Massage at the resort, $185 for 50 minutes. I left resort and paid $50 for a full hour. My suggestion would be to develop a point system for guests with credits, while keeping pricing more reasonable for those paying out of pocket for extra services. Being the resort is small, we did get to know our fellow guests a little better and this was nice. As stated earlier, overall we had a nice time. We always make the best of any situation and vacation is always better than being at work. Would we return to the island? Yes. The people are friendly, there are great restaurants, and we got around via golf cart. Would we return to this resort? No.

Room Tip: I would not want a room facing back side of resort....view would be a swamp and parking lot.

My bride and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here last week. Clean spacious rooms, AWESOME staff... Starting with Jose, the entertainment director all the way to the hostesses, bartenders and wait staff they are just fabulous. You get to know all the other guests quickly since there are only 60 rooms or so. If you want to take it slow and savor your time this is the perfect pkace to be. We will definitely be going back.
