“One of the most atmospheric, but still affordable places in Isla Mujeres”

Nice setting and great atmosphere. Chicken with olives and couscous is delicious.

Generally great value for money. However, avoid the boring lamb chops, they are a real rip-off (270 Pesos).

Reserve well in advance, otherwise you only get a table in the not-so-nice entrance area, or not at all.

“New Years Eve Dinner - Fantastico!!”
Reviewed January 6, 2010

The food here is wonderful and the beautiful atmosphere can't be beat!!! We enjoyed the mixed tapas and various other dishes and each of them was done to perfection. This is a must for anyone visiting the island!

“beautiful gardens great food for a great price”
Reviewed December 20, 2009

We recently visited Isla and had planned to try a different restaurant each night. We enjoyed our dinner so much we returned for our last night. There are lots of good places to eat on Isla now and this is one of the best. We spend under $30. had a drink, appetizer main course and dessert with coffee. Sure can't do that at home.

“Best atmosphere and food on Isla Mujeres”
Reviewed December 4, 2009

Don't miss the Moroccan fish filet or the chicken with olives. The shwarma wrap is also delicious and enough for 2 to share. The appetizer of fresh baked parmesan bread and olives is worth every penny and large enough for 3 or 4 to share.

“More form than substance”
Reviewed December 1, 2009

The atmosphere is quiet and romantic -- very unlike the noisy touristy places on Hidalgo. We had the mixed appetizer plate and the fish with "Moroccan" couscous. The food was good but not what I would consider adequately spiced -- the general flavor was sweet. The couscous was bland, covered with a concoction made of chick peas in a tomato sauce. My wife, a native of the region, said it was definitely not Moroccan. If you're looking to avoid locals, eat in a quiet environment, and don't mind price, then this is a good place, but there's better fish elsewhere.
