We again stayed at Casa Sirena in 2014 from February 18 through February 27. The accommodations are great, the breakfasts are outstanding and the happy hour at the roof bar each evening is unmatched on the island. Every detail is thought of in advance and all one needs to do is ask and Steven has the answer. We needed to leave the island on the 8:30 am ferry, and even though the breakfasts officially start at 9 am, Steven asked his staff to prepare a meal for us. A wonderful touch, and very much appreciated. We're already planning to visit Casa Sirena in 2015!

We thank you for returning to Casa Sirena, and for taking the time to write another review. It would be a joy to have you back next year for another round of Margaritas at happy hour.

Hotel looks like something in a travel magazine! Gorgeous, with every small detail taken into consideration. The rooms are perfectly sized, some with ocean views, some just views of everyday Mexican life. Breakfast is served every day except Sunday and is delicious traditional Mexican food. It is served downstairs in a walled courtyard with a small bubbling pool. The ambiance is astounding. Happy hour at the roof top bar is a tradition not to be missed! Steve, the owner is full of wonderful suggestions for food: Cubana, Soggy Peso, Ballyhoos on the beach, etc. You can walk to all above mentioned places and to the beach. It is very close to the seawall path, which also affords great views. Make your reservations early as it fills up quickly!

Room Tip: Room 6 has great views of ocean

One of the benefits of a smaller hotel is personalized service. As I get to know each guest, I strive to tailor recommendations for restaurants and activities to help you fall in love with the island as I did 20 years ago. Hope you can return: there is a lot more food and fun waiting

We've been here 5 times now in 4 years. We're not repeat visitor-types. We've never been anywhere else more than 2 times. And here, now 5.

This time, I got very sick. Had nothing to do with being in Mexico - I was sick before i got to Mexico, and I should not have traveled. But we wanted to be in our darling Isla so much, we went anyway.

The owner of this Inn, Steve, took my wife to the doctor's office personally, and made sure I received great treatment. He then kept me on a steady diet of sprite at happy hour!

If you're a friendly person, want to meet friendly people, and want to enjoy a jewel of the Caribbean - you cannot do wrong here.

Steve...thanks again.

It was great to have you back! It is comforting to know that if needed, the island's doctors can come to the hotel provide professional, personalized care. We were all glad to see you back at happy hour (and no one even knew you were on a steady diet of Sprite).

Just returned from another fantastic stay at Casa Sirena. This was our fourth or fifth stay there, not sure exactly. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on Isla. It's like coming home when we get there.

The location is great, just a short walk to anywhere in Centro and to playa Norte. The breakfasts are amazing. The happy hour is infamous.
And Steve is such a wonderful and gracious host.
Every time we go we meet wonderful people at Casa Sirena. Between breakfast and happy hour, you really get a chance to interact with fellow travelers, and every trip we meet really cool folks which enhances our trip.

We're already thinking about when we'll return to Isla again. No doubt that we'll be staying at Casa Sirena.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my life as an innkeeper is when guests return over and over, bringing family, and becoming friends.
