Recently returned from a two week trip to the peaceful island of Mujeres. We stayed our first two nights at a hotel we had prebooked online and were not happy with it due to noisy location, and the supposed balcony not being even big enough to sit on.
A complete stroke of luck to come upon the gem "Hotel Las Palmas". Immediately liked the place after meeting the Hotel family, Kate, Safari and baby Dania. We are so lucky that they were able to accommodate us and we eagerly moved in the next day. In short this small hotel made our vacation. Wonderful quiet location, within easy reach of everything. Setup of hotel includes large courtyard which is a favourite meeting spot for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Great to meet lots of people and hear their experiences with Isla and other places. After our day at the beach or around the town, it way always nice to come back to our comfortable cozy room at Las Palmas, It really felt like coming home.
Hope we will have the opportunity to return to this wonderful Island and great hotel.
