I have been going to Isla Mueres for 18 years. The first time I stumbled Upon Nautibeach a girlfriend and I were traveling there to experience a true "Palapa" experience. When we got there, the sewer system, mine you it's 1995, was dug up in the road and running threw our basement room, because the "Palapa" was under repair. We left immediately, and starting walking down the beach and say Nautibeach. We had already paid for our stay at the "Palapa", and ran into the office telling our story. At that time Bob and Joyce were managing Nautibeach. They took us under their wing, and gave us a condo, and said not to worry, we know you are good for it! They treated us like family. They helped us wire money from the states to pay for our stay. They were so gracious as everyone at Nautibeach. I have since stayed there numerous times over the past 18 years. We have rented homes on the island, and when we can't book at a private home, we always choose Nautibeach. We just stayed there this March, and through the internet, the only place available was a studio apartment, with only one queen bed. My girlfriend and I have gone for 5 trips there, and realized that we would probably have to share a bed, unfortunately. We checked in and asked if there was any way we could have a two bedroom. They were so accommodating, we immediately got upgraded and into our room at 10:30 am. Check in is at 3pm. We were only to stay for 5 days, and then the storm hit the Northeast. US Airways alerted us that our flight was canceled. We went down to the office, and they said no problem. We can put you up for another 2 days into another unit. No hassles, no problem. The maids there are the same that have been there for years. They are all so friendly, kind, and gracious in every aspect. Would I love to buy there? You bet. In 1995 a condo went for $110,000. Now they are $350,000. Would I go back there again? You bet! Other then renting a private home, Nautibeach is a home away from home, with many more amenities like daily maid service, pool, restaurant, beach chairs, and excellent staff. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I have always had at Nautibeach. Wish I could win the lottery to buy a place there.

Room Tip: The end condo's are the best. Ground floor units are awesome. The first floor is actually what w...

Where else can you stay on the beach for less than 90.00 per night in a 2 bedroom condo with kitchen? It is a great deal, although the first night we were in a shabby musty unit with broken lamps and several other issues. After complaining in the am we were moved that afternoon to a much better condo . Only issue was the ferocious mosquitos that could fly through the slats in the front door... But that said I would definately return for the location! We walked the beach, snorkeled from shore by the Avalon beach club, and ate while watching the sunset at the condo's sunset grill. We loved walking to town and tried a different restaurant each day: Barlitos, Freddy's, Hildago crepes, the mango cafe after a short cab ride, there is no lack of excellent eats! The water was absolutely gorgeous!

Nautibeach Condos…..
Not one complaint from us! We stayed in condo 40, a one bedroom condo with a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. We felt immediately like it was our home away from home! It is a sunny tropical comfortable condo and well maintained and clean!! We loved getting up early each morning sitting on our balcony drinking a cup of coffee. We loved the beach and gorgeous blue and teal waters. As far as we are concerned, we couldn’t have picked a better place for us,The people working on this property are so friendly and accommodating they were truly the icing on the cake!! We loved that there are so many amazing places to eat within walking distance from our condo and how the beach stretches both directions for wonderful walks along the ocean! We will definitely be back, Nautibeach condos provided us with one of the most wonderful and relaxing trips we have ever experienced! We will never stay anywhere else but Nautibeach when we return to Isla .
Thank you for everything !

Room Tip: Face the ocean to see the breathtaking sunsets.

We stayed at Nautibeach for 5 days on a girls trip. We requested a condo on the second floor for safety reasons. We were placed in condo # 16. Though clean, the condo was in need of maintenance. Lamps did not work, electrical outlets were not functional , the sliding screen door was off it's tracks and the lampshades were torn and tattered. We requested to be relocated and our request was happily accommodated and we were moved to # 08. Condo number 08 was well maintained and cheerful and we had no further issues. Nautibeach staff went out of their way to ensure an amazing vacation especially the front desk ,managers Erik Lara ann Remeba. The location was perfect and the beach was pure bliss. We felt safe and everything was within walking distance. I can't recommend this place enough. It would be a great place for families to vacation.

We booked our vacation through Vicki at Lost Oasis. She was extremely helpful (completely legit & trustworthy!) She responded right away to all questions and was pleasure to deal with!

We stayed in Unit #10, which overlooks the parking lot--NOT as bad as it sounds. It was surprisingly quiet, but if you want a view not the unit for you. It was newly furnished (in good taste), the beds were a bit hard but not bad (disregard negative past reviews--it has been re-funished). The owner seems keen on updating and open to suggestions....so we gave him some...

The cons: The bathroom was subpar. We did not look forward to a shower at all, in fact quite the opposite. There were several smaller things we alerted him to as well; the coffee maker was broken, really need a Matt to wipe off sand which inevitably gets everywhere. -simple detail in a condo on the beach. Kitchen utensils --wine glasses--and BASIC items like Pepper, sugar, cooking oil, sponges were NOT provided. These small items would have been appreciated--no one guest enjoy's buying these items.

The Pro's: Directly located on the most perfect beach!!! Great for kids to swim. Overall Unit #10 was nice, it was pretty quiet, easy to get in/out --a plus with kids--.The restaurant--Sunset Grill-- is quite good but expensive$$$.

Tips: If it is really windy go around corner to beach at the lighthouse. BRING AN EXTRA BAG OF FOOD (snacks cereals ect..). I wish someone told me how expensive things are...I had no idea the price of things increased so much. Eg: Ave meal for 4 between $40-$60 (with drinks)

We had a blast renting golf carts and it is a must to go to sculpture garden on other end of island (20 min drive)! Beautiful. We wanted to swim with the dolphins but it was outside of our budget ($80 per person). Turtle exhibit was Ok ($3), but don't go out of your way. This would be the day to go to only large grocery store on the island.

Our favorite RESTO hands down was Dopi's!!!! Everything there was delicious! Great service too! Located on main restaurant alley (pedestrian street-North beach). 5-10min walk from Nautibeach.

Room Tip: Unit 3 & 4 would have been ideal for us (ground floor, near pool & view of the ocean).

We stayed in condo #11 and were very pleased. I had stayed at Privilege last year and actually had a slightly better experience at Nautibeach. Beautiful pool area- quiet and restful. Beach side has fantastic beach area with less wind than Privilege side and calmer waters. The beach is perhaps a bit noisier with plenty of lovely Mexican vendors visiting throughout the day, but there are quiet areas to retreat to if you really don't like the activity. The only complaint I have is that the availability of beach cots is limited (at least while we were there in a very busy period), and you have to get out to the beach by 6 am in order to "reserve" anything decent. This was not the case for poolside cots.
We were quite pleased with our room. Decor was nice and simple and kitchen supplies were reasonable. As per usual for Mexico, the beds were pretty hard and by night 7, we were dreaming of our mattress back in Canada. The water pressure in the shower was poor but tolerable, and we were assured by many that we talked to that Nautibeach probably has the best and most reliable water pressure on that part of the island.
It was a really pleasant and relaxing holiday and we will return here when we come back the next time. The location is also extremely good given it's proximity to centro and coastal drive restaurants.
For golf cart rental, we were able to get a large golf cart with back end basket (we had snorkeling gear for 4 which we had to transport) from Gomar for a good price, and we were pleased with their service overall.
