“Great breads, good value”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

We ate here one morning and loved it.

I ordered a breakfast the came with mex eggs dish, two large pc of homemade bread, homemade jams, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice and coffee for 85 pesos. ($6.50 USD)

My wife had a yogurt and fresh fruit dish with granola and loved it also.

Great local place on a side street away from all the traffic of Haldago. It is also on the east side of the street so you get the morning shade. Very nice people running it and great service. Out door seating available.

We would go back again.

“Cute place in the heart of Playa Norte”
Reviewed April 21, 2014 via mobile

Stopped here for coffee and breakfast, and loved our experience! Had a cute table on the sidewalk so we could watch all the happenings. Excellent service, great coffee, and an awesome breakfast! Their homemade bread and jam is to die for.

“IN MY ELEMENT!”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

Corny as that sounds. You see there are a handful of places which we must - absolutely must - go to as soon as time allows and Magicd and Jean's simply divine (and serene) Elements of the Island is one of them. That was true when the previous owners Lisa and Cesar owned it and it's still true. Everything on the menu is tres tres bon - including and especially the home-made breads and tasty and delicious jams - and when it comes to breakfast (and yes they also serve lunch, but it's breakfast for me here) Elements of the Island always makes me feel like I'm home.

“Best Breakfast”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

They have the best homemade breads and Jam on the island. The quantity and quality of food for the price is spot on. Organic coffee is served, friendly staff. We eat here several times during our stay

“Amazing breakfast!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

It's been 5 years since the last time we were on IM and the only restaurant we HAD to visit again was Elements. Lots of delicious, organic, local food. Homemade bread & jellies. Best coffee on the island. Yoga studio here, too, and I think they rent rooms. Food is not super cheap but reasonably priced, for sure.
