“Great place for a nice dinner!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2013

This is a very well thought out restaurant. From the beautifully designed open air building to the beautiful presentation of their delicious foods, it was a great experience for dinner. The owner stopped by our table to explain the menu and help guide us in the right direction. The five of us had four different meals and they were all fantastic! There are amazing flavors and spices that just work so well together. The margaritas are fresh and delicious! This place has a great ambience for dinner and we can't wait to go back.

“Recommended by Olivia's which was closed for an event”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2013

If Olivia's (one of our go-to restaurants) had not been closed we would not have discovered this gem. Super fresh. Great tastes. No wasting time bringing from kitchen to table. Creative margaritas. I had the pineapple ginger, which was a little spicy from the fresh ginger and sweet from the pineapple. I had the sea bass which was beautiful served on a plateau of fluffy rice a barely steamed, thinly sliced veggies. All lightly coated in incredible flavors. Then we shared chocolate empanadas sitting on melted cajeta sauce. There was a crunchy texture which I learned was caramelized almonds. The owner is lovely and passionate about giving her guests the best experience. Will return again and again. As of this writing, bring cash.

“Lovely setting, average experience.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2013

We went here based on trip advisor reviews. The decor is among the nicest on the Main Street. Having come from a stupendous experience at limon the previous evening, for the same amount of money we were definitely disappointed here. The unique margaritas were not cheap, had minimal alcohol, and were just ok. My dish, grilled coconut shrimp, had minimal coconut and when the owner asked us how we liked our meal, discovered it had not been served with the sauce/ pineapple salsa! Perhaps it would have been more tasty if it was properly served. The owner, very nice and friendly, is American; and we awaited hearing back from her upon her discovery (perhaps a free dessert or drink), however she never returned to our table! My husbands vegan dish was highly overpriced for avocado, veggies and rice. I would not spend my money here again.

“Excellent!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2013

A wonderful, little outdoor restaurant in the middle of the downtown atmosphere. The food and the prices can't be beat. The owner is friendly, adding personal interaction with the customers making everyone feel welcomed. We went for dinner on Wednesday, only to find that is the 1 day they are closed, so we went back Thursday and are so glad we did!!!

“so many yummy choices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

Lori (the owner) is so personable. Her combinations of spices with local cuisine are amazing. We were there for breakfast and had a wonderful seafood crepe & egg/goat cheese crepe.

She also came to our casa and gave us all a fabulous dinner. She and her crew prepped at her restaurant and finished off here at the casa. Not cheap but worth the meal with family before our wedding.
