Beach restaurant with friendly local staff. Awesome food, fresh fish all day. You can see fishermen bringing amazing fishes all the time, fair price. Two old men playing lovely music with an original instrument also add something unique to the restaurant.
Recommend: order a Tikkinxic the day before you go to the restaurant, you'll be surprised!

We did some research and found this place right on the beach where the fishermen bring in their catch during the day. You can sit at a table with your feet in the sand and order cold beers adn have the best ceviche adn the best whole fried fish we have ever had. the staff is attentive adn friendly. they also make the best flan for dessert. the pricing is reasonable, we had the fish with sides and a couple of beers a piece, a mango drink adn flan with dessert adn it came to about $30, they also have alot more on their menu. A deffinate place to go especially in the early evening when you can sit at a table close to the shore adn catch a nice breeze.

Everything we tried was great and servings are large so we can share a few things. The ceviches are great - really fresh. The shrimp cocktail was delicious as were all the styles of fish filet we tried. We usually shared a shrimp cocktail or ceviche and then a fish filet. There are so many different styles to choose from that you won't run out of options. We definitely enjoyed Minino's for lunch as we could enjoy the beach and avoid some of the pricier options that populate the Playa Norte area. Service is mostly good and you are eating with locals and tourists alike so it doesn't feel touristy.

Minios was one of the first restaurants we ate at during our week on Isla Mujeres. I was suprised that new reviews were listed as it was recommended by several expats.

It is typical for one of the beach haunts by the ferry docks, plastic chairs and tables, sand under your feet and either sky or canvas above, denpending on were you choose to sit.

We ordered shrimp ceviche to start the meal and this "appetizer" could have feed us both for the night. Over 3 dozen big shrimp, whole. EXCELLENT! For the main course we had the stuffed filet and grilled shrimp. Both entrees were very good. The fish filet was stuffed with shrimp, crab and octopus, with a cheese sauce. For me the octopus wasn't my favorite as it was cooked 'in its own ink' style and I preferred mine grilled. The shrimp was grilled to perfection.

Huge portions. Ended up fat and happy by the end of the meal.
