“Definitely worth the stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

Liked: It's really cheap. I think we paid about $20 for entry, locker rental, chair, umbrella, and equipment for one parson.
It's easy to get to: If you have a golf cart, it's right off the road.
The fish are right off the shore: You don't have to swim forever to see lots and lots of fish.
Kid friendly: There were a few kids having a great time.

Didn't like:
Small: The beach is small and a little crowded, even during the slow season
The beach is rocky: You may want to bring water shoes if you have them.
Not a lot of fish variety: You won't see anything exotic out here, but that's OK.

It's an excellent value and a great place to spend the day.

“Good introduction to snorkeling”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We wanted to see if the kids would like snorkeling and this was a great fit. A small beach, lots of fish right off shore. Probably nothing too exotic for the serious snorkeler, but our ten year-old stayed out with us head down for a good 90 minutes. The facilities are basic - it's no Club Med - but there are showers, bathrooms, a little restaurant for drinks and Mexican food. Staff was very helpful - found an itty-bitty life jacket for our four year-old -- but the snorkeling is do-it-yourself. And the kids loved all the iguanas that wandered around the grounds, especially during our lunch!

“Little Garrafon is big on experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

We snorkled at Garrafon de Castilla in May 2013 and had the best experience. Great snorkling for first timers or experienced. Buy the fish food, so much fun to feed the fish and have them swim all around you. Food and drink service as well as comfortable seating on the beach. Low key and tons of fun. Very inexpensive to get in. I think it was $30 for 6 people. We did have our own snorkling gear, but they do rent it there along with towels and locker. Must do next time we are on the island
