Stopped here at noon on a hot day and walking by the infinity pool on the way to the bar/restaurant we knew we would love this place! The bar sits behind a very nice hotel and the view is awesome! We had heard about the panini's and thats what we came for................we were not disappointed! 4 of us came and we had drinks at an immaculate bar with a very personable waitress. We ordered two paninis and split them as they are the size of a large dinner plate and they were awesome! Just the right amount of crispness with good chewy cheese and lots of meat and flavor! Never ever thought I would go somewhere in Mexico to specifically have a panini but I would go back here in a heart beat! Check my pic - there is one bite missing though!
We did swim in the pool on the way out!

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for Barlito! We too laugh about the popularity of our paninis in the land of yummy tacos & enchiladas. A taste of home made on great homemade bread & the freshest ingredients offered in Mexico. That is really where we luck out. The produce & meats down here are so good, you add your own cuisine flare & that is really why we have so many great restaurants on the Island. We all have wonderful products to work with.

The beauty of Barlito's new location, is you don't have to rush off after eating to head back to the water or the pool. Now we have it right here! By your next visit, we will have a new even bigger pool on the North side of our property with deck seating, poolside food & beverage service & even a cantina area for visitors & Islenos. We will also have swim lessons, you would be surprised at the number of Islenos that don't know how to swim (adults & children).

Thanks again for your review & we look forward to having you back again at Barlito!

Our best regards,
Brad & Tiffany

We visited at their previous location a couple years back. Decided to go find the good pizza place we ate at last time and pulled in. Found out it was barlitos new location. Their expanded dinner service is great. Kids devoured the pizza. Love the atmosphere at the new location.

Tiffany & Brad. That would be enough said if you have ever been to Barlito. Mid-week of our first ever Isla vacation, we made a point to get out early for one of Barlito's famous cinnamon rolls I had read so much about on Trip Advisor. Tiffany waited on us and when my husband couldn't make up his mind she asked him a few questions and voila! Brad made a personalized Panini that my husband loved! Mine was fantastic as well, and so big, I couldn't eat it all. Really delicious and the atmosphere was happy and friendly. Tiffany saved my leftovers for a stray dog she had rescued and told us a bit about the little fellow. He was skin and bones and she couldn't get him to eat...until she gave him a piece of a Panini. He loved them and little by little was fattening up. (I think the pup was a "he", but we visited last November and I can't remember. 50/50 I got it right!)

We got there just in time to score two of the three cinnamon rolls that were left. :) We asked Tiffany if we could leave them there while we walked down Hidalgo and she boxed them up for us and stuck them high on a shelf for safekeeping. After visiting some shops, we stopped by to pick them up and as a young man reached up to get the boxes for me (Tiffany had marked Ft.Worth on them, cute!), I heard a booming voice behind me say, and "Do you have your drivers' license?" I turned to see Brad grinning from ear to ear and bust out laughing. Yes. They are so good they are treasured and you must be early to get them! He was saving the golden goodies for the rightful owners. Us!

Looks like they've moved Barlito to the old Los Iguanas we ate at while there. A beautiful location and setting. We can't wait to take the golf cart down the road from Caribbean Casa (our home away from home) this Fall to have breakfast on their deck. Don't miss Barlito if you go to Isla!

Thank you so much for your nice review of Barlito & your kind words about us. You were right about the sick doggie being a boy. Barlito's leftovers & the occasional custom frittata did nurse "Cappuccino" back to perfect puppy health. Thanks to Isla Animals adoption program Cappi is now living the good life in upstate NY being spoiled rotten.

Our Cinnamon Rolls always did go fast & furiously when we were on Hidalgo. Often Brad would joke with people about them getting mugged on the way out if they bought the last one! Our record sales one day were 48 sold in 21 minutes. More than two sold a minute! Crazy! Now that we are out of town & our setting is a little more relaxed, we are still selling out but usually around mid-morning or early afternoon. So when you come back to visit us at our new location at Marina Paraiso (which we love) you can always email us in advance at barlito@live.com & we can reserve one just in case!

We look forward to having you back on the Island!

My best regards,
Tiffany

Thanks so much for your complimentary comments about our food & posting directions to our new place! We are about a mile our of town from our Hidalgo & Abasolo corner on the bay. The setting is entirely different. Downtown, we were fast paced & surrounded by the hustle & bustle of Hidalgo & all our neighbors (who we do miss!). Our new location at Marina Paraiso is just so pretty. The birds are chirping, the iguanas are sun bathing or chasing after each other, we have trees blooming & incredible views of the water & sunset. Having Barlito at Marina Paraiso is quite a treat. It is also so nice for our clients to sit back & relax while eating or drinking. Since we are on the water, our clients aren't as rushed to get back to the beach or their hotel. We thank you again for your review & for helping to spread the word on our new location!

Our best regards,
Brad & Tiffany
