Description: Breeze, sun and sand in this Beach Club with unbeatable service where you can make use of the loungers and small palapa-shaded tables, or just lie out on the white sand. Beach attendants can bring water and even take food and beverage orders, (Shrimps tacos anyone?). While beautifully landscaped Privilege Beach Club is also worth for dining al fresco in a romantic setting.

The food was nothing special and it took over an hour to serve us! It's a great location at the end of the main road by the north beach.

This is the beach club when you're staying at the Privilege Aluxes, its always possible to find a good spot on the beach, its a private beach the sea is really clear there, always fun to swim there. The service from the waiters is AMAZING,Enrique and Sergio run ,run and run in the sand for taking care of the customers all day long, drinks(not watered down) and food at your beach chairs is included, for lunch a great selection:Cevice,Tacos de Cochinita Pibil,3 kinds of chicken wings, chicken fajitas, big burger and everything is tasty. For dinner the menu changes on Mondays night, good selection ,steak,grooper...always a great band there or the Famous Jesus Campuzano! And do not miss the sunset from the beach its amazing ,a big thanks to all the staff see you soon, from Pelicano!

The shrimp ceviche was amazing! We stayed at Privilege for 6 days and this was our favorite spot for delicious seafood and guacamole.

The location is ideal as it is on the beach and the atmosphere is nice, but once the food came it was a different story. The portions were to put it politely "Nouvelle Cuisine" size (ie: extremely small), The guacamole (which ran about $8.00) was the size of an ice cream scoop. The ceviche was just a little bigger at about $13.00 and unlike any ceviche I have ever tried (no cilantro and condimented with black pepper) and was a real disappointment. The chef I think is Belgian or something like that, because to get this strange version of ceviche on the beach, in a fishing village in Mexico is a first. To their credit, the waiter was good and so no problems with the service, but the menu is overpriced and the portions under served. After leaving we actually made a beeline for another restaurant down the beach and ordered lunch again because the main course was barely in the rank of an appetizer. Probably OK if you stick to drinking beer and skip the food.

We enjoyed each of our lunches at Cafe Del mar. The beachfront location and service were great. Wait staff were always running and service was prompt. We were limited in our options as were are vegetarians, but there was still enough to keep us satisfied. We were on the all inclusive, so we kept the drinks flowing.
