Description: Pita Amore - A unique fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine, prepared with love, on a family-secret pita bread. Chino, vegetarian, chicken and beef and beef with egg ommelet. Nicely basted with a pesto, grilled to perfection on a plancha. Topped of with the secrets of our French Culinary Institute of New York Graduate Chef Ricardo. This food is addictive - a single visit just doesn't cut it. Unbelievable to find this quality of food in Isla Mujeres near Cancun Quintana Roo Mexico.

“Perfect for a take away lunch!”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We stopped in here for a change of flavor and were thrilled! There were four of us and we had the place to ourselves. We chatted with the cook/server and watched him make each one while he asked us our preferences and made each one to order. On a back street and looks like a hole in the wall, but was very pleasant, even on an August afternoon! Would absolutely recommend as they were all delicious!

“Amazing food.”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We had the chicken pita and I had mine with the mushrooms, wow! You never knew a pita sandwich could taste so amazing. You can BYOB and the place is a little hole in the wall on a back street but worth the short side trip. Super tasty.

That's what the food screams at Pita Amore. All your senses are titillated by this little
"Love Shack" of a restaurant.Others will describe the food.I will just say Pita Amore is a gem that I found without TripAdvisor. It's a meal,It's A memory,It's an experience you don't want to miss!

And! (drum roll please) it is so very very inexpensive. And yet, compares to anything you will feast on while on the island of women.
Enjoy!

A fun spot to enjoy a casual meal in a unique setting. Polite staff and friendly owner make it a personal experience.
Try everything but make sure you finish with the flan!
Enjoy

“Great Place for a snack”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Nothing like a vendor cart setup inside an old shack. They don't serve beer, you can just go around the corner to the local store and buy one and bring it back to enjoy with your pita. For dessert, you have to have the flan. Everything tasted great.
