We went to this beach second...it was beautiful with amazing views. It was a little bit rockier that the other beach but still great.

Good day trip. Not much there for ruins but the history behind them is interesting. The views are great.

A lot of people seem to be focusing on the wrong things for Punta Sur, forget the restaurant, the food is sub-par and the cost is very high as people have said. Instead, pay the $3USD entry to see the outdoor art gallery, and take the steps on the right down to a secluded little beach that is by far the best of the Island. It makes Playa Norte look like Seminyak/Kuta on a cloudy day. Seriously amazing, went went three days in a row, and were the only ones in the water. Absolutely magnificent. The best beach we have ever been to.

It was a beautiful view of the ocean and a great place to cool down. The food, beer, and shopping was a little pricey but it is the better part of the island in our opinion.

We expected Punta Sur to be where we could rent boats to go to the underwater statues right off the coast. But there is nothing there other than a low-key lighthouse tower, a row of local chotchkee shops and a restaurant on the back side. There is no beach, just a rocky cliff. Our teens loved the golf cart ride down the whole length of the island, but then we turned around and headed up to Playa Norte.
