“Beautiful views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

This was a wonderful opportunity to get some amazing views at the point of Isla Mujeres. The ruins are not much to speak of- just a piece of ruin. There are sculptures placed throughout the property which created a a really cool outdoor art exhibit. It was only a few dollars to enter and I really enjoyed walking through the property. The water views were phenomenal and we enjoyed spending an hour or so walking around taking pictures. If you rent a golf cart, it's definitely worth the stop. I got some of my best pictures from here.

“Still a must stop on a golf cart tour but...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

The art is starting to rust through because it's not being maintained. I'm no materials scientist but maybe metal wasn't the best choice with the salt water and all. Still great for picture taking and they've upgraded the walking path around the cliffs from 8 years ago. Having a beer with the view afterward at the on site bar is also worth the pesos. Keep an eye on the ticket seller though. I noticed that she tried to short change the person in front of me and then she gave me a ton of coins probably so I would dump them all in the tip jar rather than hoof them around the park.

“Best view in all of Isla Mujeres!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

We went to the park in the morning and spent well over an hour and a half there. The views are magnificent and the ruins are very old and picturesque. The walking paths that wrap down the cliff and to the sea are really interesting and worth seeing! We even ran into a 4 foot long Iguana on our travels down towards Garrafon.....the restaurant has great views, the gift shop was very nice and takes credit cards (which not all places on the island do) and you can see Cancun plain as day! I would say don't miss this place!

“OK to visit, not worth paying for.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

We stopped by Punta Sur and walked around the areas we could without paying. We could see the ruins (1 small temple) and pieces of modern art (Old and new?). Strange concept. Good place to stretch, grab a beer and snap some pics.

“Too far gone”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

Sadly the ruins are almost gone. It is a large property on the south point and I feel that so much more could be done with it. Perhaps in the future some smart person will invest in it properly. Did enjoy a nice walk around, but don't expect anything from the ruins.
