Had both breakfast and lunch here. Both were perfect! Good, healthy salads and a breakfast menu that never ends. I highly recommend this place in the beginning of Hidalgo.

Breakfast here was a treat. The French Toast was very good and the Torta Rustica was a little spict but very tasty. The restaurant itself was very clean, especially compared to some of the other places we have eaten at! A little pricey but we'll worth it!

We had lunch at Rooster this afternoon. We had the soup of the day and we split the club sandwich. The soup was a portobello mushroom soup which was creamy and delicious. The sandwich was served grilled on homemade bread. There was abundant bacon and avocado. Simply delicious.

What a find! The food was awesome and the presentation was also awesome! It was only after we finished that we realized that we should have taken pictures. I had the french toast with fruit compote and tapioca. Very tasty! My husband (who is a chef) also enjoyed his Eggs Benedict! There was a stawberry tastefully placed on the top of the french toast that was carved and looked like a rose! The fresh fruit plate was a work of art. Before our meals were served we enjoyed lovely homemade bread with cranberries and a hint of rosemary - YUMMY!! We will definitely be back!!

We first ate at Rooster's in June 2013 enjoying ourselves. Now we are back in Feb 2014 and I'm 2 for 2 breakfast at Rooster's.
The service is 1st rate and the breakfast selection is outstanding.

Do yourself a favor and try them out, I'm quite certain you won't be disappointed.
