This inventive menu and wonderful staff will please any foodie. Three brothers have brought this wonderful fresh breakfast and lunch to the island. Try the Rooster tacos and the tasty gazpacho.
Be sure to strike up a conversation with Sergio or Luis.

I wouldn't waste my time or money on Rooster Cafe when there are at least half a dozen other breakfast cafes within a radius of 2-3 blocks that outshine this restaurant for many reasons. This is a fairly new restaurant on Isla, so perhaps it just needs some time to grow into itself, but although we found the service "okay", we found the dining experience overall and specifically the food, sorely lacking for the price. Not one in our party finished their meal and even the neighbourhood cats walked away from the "after" offerings. From basic fruit salad to eggs and toast, to the mexican omelet, there just weren't any cheers from our party of 4. Walk 2 blocks south and take in Barlito or a couple blocks east of that at Manana's, and you will have a full, happy stomach- a smile on your face- and some extra pesos in your pocket!!

Very clean and friendly. Food was good, great smoothies and close to the beach. Their baked breads were yummy it was hard to choose which egg Benedict to order - there were so many! It's a must.

Rooster Cafe has everything that you need for a nice breakfast to start off your day. I was looking for something small and satisfying so I went for the cinnamon roll and coffee. The cinnamon roll was very fresh and moist. The icing tasted great and there was enough of it to go around. The coffee was also very good. It was perfect.

Great salads and sandwiches on homemade bread, yummy iced tea. Superb service from the minute we walked through the door. One of my favorite spots on Isla!
