I can't give this place a high enough recommendation. Balcony views, peaceful pool, excellent service from Oswaldo and Monica, outstanding "special" margaritas, breakfast brought to us each morning... all in a beautiful –and secure– environment.
Top notch. Can't wait to go back.

I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay here - the room was spacious and clean, the bed quite comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony each morning with our complimentary breakfast. The pool is small but very well kept and there is a small (rocky) beach below where guests can use the complimentary kayaks and snorkeling equipment.

Even though the hotel seemed to be fully booked during our stay it was very tranquil - rarely more than a few others were at the pool or on the deck overlooking the ocean while we were there.

We have been visiting Isla Mujeres for over 10 years and have stayed at many different small hotels and found this trip to be the most relaxing - far from the ever increasing crowds to be found at the north end of the island and close to lots of great restaurants.

We had a golf cart during our stay which made getting around a breeze - although taxi's are plentiful. Also, the staff is so very kind and helpful.

Would definitely return to this island gem!

We did not stay at this hotel, but we ate breakfast one morning last week in the restaurant that is open to the public. The Mexican scrambled eggs were excellent, along with a basket of rolls and jelly. We got there after 10am, not noticing the sign says breakfast ends at 10am; no problem though. We could have eaten poolside, but there are so many steps to get to the pool level. The hotel is built into the side of a cliff, with the rooms and pool staggered on different levels. It is quite unique. The whole place is beautiful, charming and quiet. We might stay here in the future.

We stayed 2 nights in room #1. We loved the pretty round room and tiled, round bathroom - nice and spacious. There is a lovely balcony with table and chairs, rockers and hammock where a continental breakfast was delivered every day (you let them know what time between 8:30 and 10): fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, coffee and juice. Staff was exceptionally kind and competent. Pool is lovely with lots of loungers, sun and shade at different times of the day. Small beach but, again, stunning views. There is also a full service restaurant and bar which makes it so convenient if you just want to stay all day lounging by the pool. Yes, there are steps but they were not an issue for us. It was a very welcome relief to spend our last 2 nights here without the crowds and vendors of Playa Norte. From beginning to end, we had no complaints.

This was the second time we stayed here. We were very tired when we arrived at the hotel and decided to eat at the little restaurant on site. What a lovely meal. 2 entrees, an appetizer, 2 beers and a bottle of wine for under $50.00. We had breakfast on our little deck every morning. It's included with the room. We will be staying here again.
