We love this traditional Mexican Hotel because of the friendly staff, impeccably clean rooms and location! We have been back again and again and will go again soon! The roooms are comfortable and all have refrigerators. It is normally a very quiet place. The central location and proximity to the beach make it perfect for getting to the amazing restaurants that the island offers. The staff will answer your questions and help you make good decisions about where to go to get what you want!

Room tip: Make sure you have a balcony so you can watch the street life below.

We viewed this hotel and were not impressed. The rooms are small and there is no view. Not particularly close to the beach. They were showing us rooms on the third floor with no elevator. Lots of stairs. Not good for seniors.

This family owned hotel is clean, safe, and a great value... Top that off with a wonderful and accommodating staff (Rolondo one of the managers was especially helpful as well as the owners (a caring family that is on site often to ensure your stay is pleasant) and you've found a great place to stay in Isla Mujeres. The hotel is in town, far enough away from the main tourists populated streets to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to the supermarket, local market, north beach, sea wall, and golf cart rentals to be perfect for us. We stayed in a double bed room with AC and small kitchenette and found it perfect fit for us with our 8 years old daughter traveling with us this trip. We have stayed in 3 rooms at this hotel now (including an upstairs king suite - no kids in top suites) and all were comfortable, clean, and nice. The owners are investing in new mattresses, refrigerators, and updates to the top floor suites we saw these updates happening while we were there... This will ensure the hotel will be even better next time we return. Thanks to the whole team at Hotel Francis Arlene for another wonderful stay!!!

Room tip: Top floor king suites when traveling as a couple & room 4 (2nd floor - two double beds) when traveling with our daughter.

Just to pass the night. That's it.
Bed is good enough, there is A/C. We suggest you bring your own amenities, even soap, shampoo or anything else you think you will find in a hotel room, but don't.
Is nearby to the north beach, restaurants or anything you might need.

We received a non-smoking room with three double beds, a tv, and a bathroom with a shower stall. A/C was very appreciated! Also had ceiling fan and a small refrigerator. Everything clean and was really nice for the cost. We paid approximately $50 USD/night. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. Unsecured parking for golfcart next to hotel. We had no problems parking overnight. Owner and front desk staff were some of the friendliest we have met. Wifi worked fine and we were on the third floor. We will be staying here again!!
