This little hotel was a pleasant surprise. Great location. Its small with no major frills but its clean, reasonable and in the middle of all the night time action. The restaurant downstairs in the hotel is great! Each day we returned to interesting towel origami with fresh flowers on our bed and in our bathroom. That alone made our experience special.

We were there during high season, paid 500 pesos per night.
Pros:
Rooms- the rooms are big, clean with nice beds and nice restroom and shower. AC + ventilator. And even some descent TV channels.
Location- in the center of everything.
Cons:
NOISE- First, there's the noise from the restaurant until midnight. Second, there was noise at around 3-4AM, we don't know its source (sounded like people working in the restaurant). Third, there is a water pump on the roof that made a humming noise every 30sec, that was impossible to ignore and was constant! After two noisy nights, the receptionist explained the pump is broken, and agreed to turn it off between midnight and 8AM. We had to remind them to turn it off.
Service- most of the people operating this hotel are far from nice.
In conclusion, we stayed there because cheaper places weren't as clean, and the bigger hotels were too expensive for us. However, we wouldn't come back there next time, but rather try harder to find a similar place without so much noise..

Shared a multi bedded room with friends to save a little money. Cheaper than a dorm, but we got A/C, private bathroom and cable TV. Excellent. Position is on the main café street, with great choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. Surprisingly quiet. Room was cleaned daily and staff were very friendly. Good place to stay.

This hotel is great! Its right in the middle of everything! It is above a fantastic restaurant and has a very accommodating staff. Our room was always clean! We would leave for breakfast and come back and it was spotless! We stayed on the 3rd floor, so we didn't get all the noise that some guests have encountered. I heard the night life of the street and the restaurant down below, but it truly added to the charm of the place. I was greeted by a beautiful window in the shower each morning along with hot water and great water pressure. If I was to have one complaint, it would be to get a longer and bigger shower curtain. It was about an inch to short and was only about 2 feet wide, so we would end up getting water all over the bathroom. Other than this, no complaints! I would recommend it to anyone!

Room Tip: Third Floor rooms have a taller climb up the stairs but are quieter from all the noise of the restaurant.

We arrived on Christmas Day and decided our hotel was less than advertised so we just started to walk around on Calle Hildago and found Hotel Belmar above Rolandi restaurant Lucky for us
We ended up w nice 2nd floor room we cross ventilation ,great shower and very helpful friendly staff We paid high season price of $110 during holiday week then it dropped to $77. All breakfasts off their menu included
We spent 17 days there then left for a week trip to Chiapas then back to Isla Mujeres and the Belmar .They stored our extra bags until we returned
We were moved to larger 2nd floor front room w balcony but a couple of nights u can hear some loud music
Didn't bother us and I kind of like being in the center of things and we had a short walk to beach and close to the wonderful restaurants in town. We r starting to plan next years vacation here in Isla Mujeres
