On a rainy day, we spent hours there reading and drinking the best coffee on the island. Staff never pressured us to leave or buy more. We went back several times for breakfast and never were disappointed.

We ate here for breakfast several times as did everyone else in our party. A great all inclusive breakfast with delicious coffee from chiapas, a fresh fruit plate, and wonderful fresh-squeezed juice. The atmosphere was lovely too. Highly recommend!

After wandering around early one morning in downtown Isla Mujeres, we were dieing to have a short sitdown and desparately wanted a good coffee since it had been over a week since leaving our familiar cafes back home..Well this place did not disappoint. The coffee is GREAT, esp a dark roast or Americano WOW.. we did not eat, but some of the food plates we saw, everything looked delicious . Reasonable prices too.. Some of the staff have limited English so brush up on YOUR Mexican/Spanish for ordering..
i would have been to place every morning while on IM if our hotel was closer to downtown.

This is a well-designed island cafe with an artsy and relaxing vibe. Giant-sized black and white in-your-face photographs on walls are complimented by the pop of island colors of lime green, orange, and red cushions, couches and cups. Friendly staff deliver the inventive morning till night menu with their T-shirt messages like "Face your fears and live your dreams!" Not a spanish word, "mogagua" is African for that Aha moment. Translated into food, for us, that meant a generous omelette stuffed with wilted spinach and melted cheese, a sample of fresh fruit, toast, freshly squeezed orange juice, and really, really good coffee with steamed milk. After our caribbean morning stroll this place became our morning meditation of good food, great coffee. Estoy aqui means "I am here". Come to Isla, and you can be here too!
