Friends raved about Mango Cafe and now we are raving about it to strangers we've met on the beach! It is a must in Isla!!! You won't regret it, unless you don't go.

“Charming and delicious”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

The service here is very friendly! Our waitress greeted us in English, which was a pleasant surprise. Get the fish tacos! You may want to consider splitting the order, since the portion size is pretty large. They serve a dressing on the side, which at first blush appears to be an oil and vinegar-based Italian blend. They put some spices in it that give it a surprising and flavorful kick! If you're into people-watching, keep an eye on the drivers crossing themselves as they pass by. There's a Catholic Church across the street! It took me awhile to connect the dots. After your filling and tasty meal, cross the street and walk up the incline to the church. The Sanctuary has an amazing view of the ocean.

“Delicious - get the fish!”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

We came to Mango Cafe at the recommendation of the manager of our hotel, Casa el Pio. We ended up having both breakfast/brunch here on a day when we rented a golf cart to head to the southern part of the island, as well as an amazing dinner.

The breakfast is just delicious. Any egg dish is good and the french toast is amazing. Fresh, hot coffee, breeze off the ocean, friendly staff.

For dinner, I have to say that the fish was about as good as I've had. It was fresh - caught that morning - and prepared simply but deliciously. Anybody can cover fish with batter or a sauce, but a restaurant that finds a way to bring out the delicate flavors of a local catch is much more impressive.

Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

Just enjoyed another great meal here at the Mango Cafe! Kids had their favorite.. the Coconut French Toast! I tried something new the chicken taco with creamy Thai sauce, it was excellent! Going to have stop here one more time before we leave!
