I just returned from a cruise aboard the Carnival Legend from October 7 thru 14, 2012. First stop was Cozumel and we advanced booked the Dolphin Excursion through Carnival. They took us to Dolphinaris. I advise you to look through their website or any other information you can find on this location. What I can tell you personally is that they are rip offs. I will say that the dolphins are beautiful and well trained and the experience was wonderful. The problem i have is that you can look, but you wont find anywhere it advise you that you are NOT ALLOWED TO BRING ANY TYPE OF CAMERA. Once the excursion is complete, you are brought to their photo / video gallery. Your group is able to bring up all the photos taken. My group of my family had a total of 300+ pictures. The price: 20 picture FILES NOT PRINTS & a DVD of my groups excursion for $350.00 U.S. dollars. I am all for businesses making a profit, but this is criminal. But wait...we were in Mexico, so I tried haggling. What became apparant is that they have no set prices and it is a free-for-all. They know you want to preserve the memories especially if you have small children. So they prey on this. It was only after haggling and threatening to go viral all over the internet did I get the following: 80 picture files on CD, 2 prints & the DVD video for $157.00. I afterward spoke to others from my cruise who paid outlandish amounts such as $129.00 for four (4) pictures files on CD (THAT'S IT!). One person paid $69.00 for four (4) picture files on CD. They are criminals in there. Its a shame because the dolphins are beautiful.
