Can't say enough about how clean , relaxing this Inn was. It's Adults Only and just a block or 2 ofrom the chedraue store off the mani drag. The Inn Keepers Jerry And Leona were beyond helpful so nex tyear when my traveling companions can make it I'll be back for sure to the Coral Reef Inn and Cozumel. Thanks Again Coral reef Inn for making my debut visit to Cozumel a perfect 10.

We stayed at the Coral Reef Inn for 10 days and felt right at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the tile showers where awesome after a long day of diving. The location is 3 blocks from the waterfront, supermarkets and dive pier, which we found to be an asset, just far enough off the beaten path to truly enjoy our vacation. It was an ideal place to stay! We perticularily liked the adults only atmosphere. It was nice not having kids around on our vacation. We took advantage of the recommendations and had some really great mexican food, my favorite was a taqueria 2 blocks from the hotel called Nemo's, excellent tacos al pastor. The shared kitchen on the 3 floor was the best part of our stay, it always had a nice breeze and the views where amazing especially the sunrise and sunsets. The kitchen had everything one would need to prepare a gourmet meal or BBQ something in a snap. There was plenty of purified drinking water and ice available for free along with the necessary condiments to help make meals without the hassle of buying everything from scratch. They have an honor bar and always a few cold beers in the fridge. The wireless internet worked great no matter where I tried it. We rented a jeep from Less Pay for 3 days and spent some time on the other side of the Island, where you will find a handful of bars/restuarants right on the beach, don't miss out on the photo albums at Coconuts! The owners live on the main floor and are there to answer questions and give advice whenever needed, other than that they pretty much let you be on your vacation.

Just finished another 2 week stay at the CRI. We had a wonderful time, met a lot of great guests and had a few cocktails on the roof top in the evenings after diving. Could'nt ask for a better place to hang out in Cozumel. Close to everything, great dive packages through Dive Paradise and did I mention NO KIDS? Thanks again to our excellent hosts Jerry and Leona we'll se you again soon................Tom & Deb

We spent the holidays with Jerry and Leona Wright at their 5 room coral reef Inn. The location from town was excellent in that it was close but got us away from all the hustle and bustle of the water front. The rooms were very comfortable and the third floor open kitchen was a wonderful place to hang out, cook, and take in the great climate.
We would recommend this place to anyone staying in Cozemel. They offered a great dive/accommodation package with Dive Paradise. We had dove with them before and always found them to be very accommodating and fun to dive with.
We would stay there again and spending the holidays in Cozemel was great, the locals would all come out at night to the public square and have music and holiday programs that were a lot of fun.
The inn provided all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. Wire-less connection, A.C., refrigerator, laundry service, rinse tank and drying locker, lounge chairs, library, and a private outdoor table and chairs.
Convenient and comfortable with great hosts.

The Coral Reef Inn is fantastic and perfect for the independent traveler. The location is ideal. We have always preferred staying near the downtown area as there are so many fabulous restaurants there! The Coral Reef Inn is an easy walk (or short cab ride) to dinner and just down the street from the grocery stores. It is also a very short walk to the dive boats. Cozumel has always felt safe to us, but for anyone concerned about security the gate to the inn is kept locked and guests are supplied with a key.

The rooms are clean and as mentioned in many reviews the showers are fabulous! The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large in-room refrigerator. The rooms otherwise are quite simple. Personal laundry service is offered for a small fee, so don't over pack! What really makes this property nice is the rooftop kitchen and the lounge areas on the second and top floor. There is also a nice wash tank for scuba gear on the top floor.

As nice as any facility is, the innkeeper is who really makes the difference. Jerry and Leona are delightful! They are wonderful hosts!

We stayed for 9 nights over Christmas and it was hard to go home! Thank you for a fabulous time!

Our second stay with Jerry and Leona at the Coral Reef Inn was even better than the first! We have been travelling all over the world for the past 15 years and this is the first place we have been to twice. Why? It is like a second home. The rooms are simple but clean and smell good too. I point that out because it smelled musty at the more expensive all inclusive we stayed at in Playa Del Carmen at the beginning of our trip. If you like to cook, like we do, you will love the shared kitchen and the walking distance to TWO great grocery stores. If you don't feel like cooking, Jerry and Leona can recommend places from simple to grand. Its a great location for a walk into town or an inexpensive taxi ride. You won't find better hosts than Jerry and Leona!

This was our first time staying in a small hotel (boutique hotel or B&B?), and it was awesome!
Everything was clean & comfortable; the location was convenient; not right in the middle of everything but a relaxing walk to all we needed.
The owners Jerry & Leona where very helpful & spoke very good English (for Canadians). They even smiled when asked for the billionth time about the weather. They gave us excellent tips on where to eat off the beaten path. The rooftop kitchen was the perfect way to start or end the day.
Staying at the Coral Reef Inn has ruined us for staying in the big hotels.
