“Great day at the beach in Cozumel”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

We sailed into Cozumel and were looking for a day at the beach. We decided to try Paradise Beach after hearing so many people recommend it. We had a super day there. Entry fee is minimal and all they ask is that you spend a small amount there on food/drinks,,,which we definitely did! The service was excellent all day and the prices are very fair. We will definitely be back again the next time we are in the area. There were lots of ships in port that day (5 or 6) and yet the beach really did not feel as cramped as some lead you to believe. Loved it.

“Great Beach”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

We went there for the day while on a cruise ship. Not sure where the cruise excursion went but a friend told us to get a taxi (there are tons of them) when you get off the ship and go to Paradise Beach on your own. It was a perfect day! Taxi cost $14 for four of us one way ($10 each with tip). We paid $3 for your chair all day. With drinks and food our total pp for the day was $33 vs. the cruise excursion for $59 pp. Waiters came around continuously for drinks and food but not in a bothersome way. There is a beautiful pool with big kabana bar and bath house when you first go in and then a lush walkway to the beach. The beach has many chairs and toys in the water. They played current and we thought perfect music all day. There are many water toys for a cost -- jet skis, tube rides, parasailing, snorkling. At the beach there is a big kabana bar, small clothes shop and immaculate restrooms. The whole beach is so clean and inviting. Paradise Beach connects to various other beaches which have rope dividers. You can walk from one to another which we did, but came back to Paradise as the chairs and atmosphere was nicer. We highly recommend going here and will definitely go back (hopefully one day).

“Great resort! Service was only ok.”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

We had a great day at the beach, but better service would have made it even better. We were led to a spot on the beach with Miguel as our server. I don't know if he was stretched to thin or what, but we were travelling with 2 other families and we routinely waited more than 15 minutes for a drink order to get filled. One time my friend had to ask twice for a XX beer and he gave up after 30 minutes and went to the bar to get it, which ruffled some feathers with the beach wait staff and bar staff. I ordered a smoothie for my daughter which never came, and ordered again and it finally arrived, and was charged twice (which was resolved agreeably when the tab came). If those food and drink orders would have been coming sooner we would have ordered more food and drinks and stayed on the beach, so this was a loss for the resort and turned into a major irritation for us as guests. Half of the group moved to the pool area, we followed and we got awesome service from Reynaldo I think. The ocean activities upcharge of $18 was a bit steep. It was fun to do but with three kids probably not worth it since maybe they spent an hour on the inflatables. If we did this beach excursion again we'd stay around the pool after a brief dip in the ocean. Overall, we spent $125 including tip for two adults and 3 kids for food and drinks, which is pretty cheap for a day at the beach and pool. Unfortunatley it was the waiter helping us keep our costs down.

“Immaculate beach club”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

We went here for the day in January 2014. Chairs for the day were $3 and each guest is asked to spend $10. Service was good, not overly aggressive. Food and snacks were good. The whole area was super clean. Quite a few areas to walk around, shop, massage...the pool was very pretty and clean and the restrooms were immaculate. Not even a drop of water on the floor. The staff was constantly wiping all surfaces and floors. There was pretty good snorkeling under the pier. We saw about 100 fish, 2 rays and 2 lobsters. This would be great for kids. You could literally hold on to the ladder, put your head in and see fish. We walked out to the ladder and got in and then drifted slowly back toward shore several times. No reef, but I guess fish like the pier. No complaints at all about this place. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas, room to walk...

“Beautiful place, great value!”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

This was our 3rd visit to Paradise Beach and it was amazing, as usual! Everyone who works there was so accommodating and attentive that we wanted for nothing. The facility is immaculate and gorgeous and the food was delicious! We can't wait to go back to Cozumel so we can go back to Paradise Beach!
