“Be careful of ROCKS.”
Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

This place was very nice. However watch out for rocks. I walked into the water stepped on some rocks. Tore several tendons in my foot. Way to ruin my cruise. The rocks were not marked and I saw several people slip on them. I will not be back. I now have physical therapy and a walking boot. Not happy.

“Great spot to visit while in Cozumel”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

For only $2 you can spend the day at this private area with a bar, pool and access to the beach. The facilities are very clean and worth the money...which is not much!

“Cozumel Paradise Beach”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Paradise Beach is a great place to sit and relax and have and have an ice cold drink and enjoy the beautiful water Cozumel has to offer. Take a short taxi ride costing only a few bucks to Paradise Beach. Food and drinks are available and plenty of water activites to enjoy onsite. The place is always clean and the service is great. Dont forget to try the snorkeling!

“Loved Paradise Beach”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Read about Paradise Beach on Trip Advisor so got off the cruise ship and headed to the taxi stand. Shared the taxi with the couple in front of us, just $7.00 each couple and a 7 minute ride. It exceeded our expectations. The pool is large, great water temp., only $2 to use the pool with a lounge and also the beach lounge and enjoyed the hammocks too. Alex was our waiter and he took good care of us, bringing drinks and food. He wasn't pushy but accommodating to our needs. Really enjoyed our relaxing time there and would highly recommend it. We didn't pay the extra $12 to use the water toys and kayaks and float mattresses, but younger folks would probably like to add that too.

“LOVE the Upgrades to the Property!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

It has been three years since we've been to Cozumel and Paradise Beach and even the pics on their Facebook page didn't prepare me for the beauty! It almost didn't look like the same property but the upgrades were amazing! There's still the nominal fee of $2.00 for a chair and they ask that you spent at least $10 per person before leaving. We ate lunch there and it was delicious!

The pool is beautiful and there is more than enough shade under the palm trees with plenty of chairs. They also have a covered cabana type area with eight hammocks overlooking the water.

They still have the water "playground" and also have paddle boarding, snorkeling, parasailing, jet skis, etc.

The new locker area and bathrooms are so clean! There is almost always someone cleaning! Lockers are $4.00 with a $20 deposit which is refunded when you return the key.

The cab from Puerta Maya (Carnival cruise lines) is $14 for up to four people. There are always PLENTY of cabs waiting to bring you back to the port, so no worry of waiting for them to pick you up.
