Loved the current and the variety of fish and other sea creatures!
Like flying through a park - without the plane...great drift dive.

“Very Nice Secluded Beach Bar/Restaurant”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

We had a great time visiting Punta Morena during our trip to Cozumel. It is a nice quit spot to relax by the beach, swing bar, or pool. Its a great place to get away from the large tourist crowds at the other beach clubs, which are over priced anyway.

“Watch Your Check They Do Conversion Rate Scam”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

I've given this place good reviews in the past. However the last 2-3 times we have been there, they've tried to play games with the exchange rate and the tab. We have a home on the island so we try to pay in pesos and we are aware of the exchange rate games. As I mentioned in my previous review, the USD menu is priced differently than the peso menu.

So this time we asked for the menu in Espanol and pesos. When we got the check, our waiter had converted it to dollars. The dollar amount was $81. The peso amount was $770 pesos (or $64 at 12:1) as we were able to recount everything we ordered.

When we questioned it, we were told it "included the tip". (Well thank you for not scamming us with the IVA tax scam as we know the tax is always included in the posted price of the food.). Never mind there was no line for the tip (propina). Had we not paid attention, we would have added a tip on top of the "tip".

While the beers are expensive at $50 pesos ($4,16 USD) when they give you the fake conversion rate again, they clip you for another 10-20%.

So it is a great place to visit, but keep track of your bill and what you ordered and how much it cost.
