We were told by our dive guides that this restaurant was run by the local fisherman's union, but we didn't know the name of it when we set out to find it. It's out of the way and unassuming, like some of the best spots on the island. The lionfish ceviche is almost a meal in itself, and they also gave us chips, guacamole, a crab salad salsa and a bowl of delicious seafood soup. With a couple of ice-cold XX's, what could be better after a morning of scuba diving? This place is a little gem and I hope it stays that way.

This is off the beaten tourist track. Tucked inside a simple, cute courtyard, this restaurant offers wonderful fresh seafood, including delicious lobster with garlic sauce. Yum!! It comes with a really tasty soup and lovely ceviche as starters. We were the only non-locals there for lunch. The vibe was very friendly and the service excellent. We will definitely add this to our short list of favorites in Cozumel.

My wife and I patronize this establishment at least one time every time we are in Cozumel. Then, all year long we salivate and think about going back next time. I cannot speak about everything on the menu, but you cannot go wrong with the lionfish ceviche and the whole fried fish. I personally love the mero (grouper) or pargo (snapper). The dishes are served with rice, tortillas, and a seafood-broth based soup -- which has a lemon-seafood flavor. It is true that they put fish scraps in the seafood stock that forms the base of the soup-- if you are particularly averse to seafood and/or the fish bones that often accompany this type of food, this restaurant is probably not for you anyways. While my wife and I are not Cozumel experts, we do love to eat -- this place gets high marks from us.

One of our snorkeling guides recommended this restaurant and we are sure glad. We had lionfish every way they offered it, all of which was very good. We washed down their delicious chips and salsa with some good Mexican beers. Would recommend to anyone lucky enough to be in Cozumel - it is a little off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Meals were a bargain too.

Nice restaurant on the windward side of the island. Structure is showing some age and will need some repairs soon. Boast a monster margerita glass with no shortage of liquor. Food was very good and pricing was competitive with other restaurants. The staff were wonderful. Free tequila shots after lunch!!! Fun place with a nice view
