The Money Bar is at the water's edge, the food, service and views are awesome. Everyone here makes you feel welcome. Every single person, from the porter sweeping the floor, the doorman, the management staff as well as the servers and even the security staff. Every one of them every time takes the time to greet you. First class and professional every time. The Money bar is part of the landmark Resort and is a Top Rated Place to go. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and the food is great with a lot to choose from. Want some sun? There is a area with sand and beach chairs with umbrellas. Steps that lead down into the water for easy entry or do what I like to do. Drink wine and jump off the pier. The snorkeling is great just a few yards off the pier. Want some night life...? The Money Bar has a live band three or sometimes four nights a week from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm and the band is great. (Thursday through Sunday) Very nice dance floor in an open-air environment at the water edge. Dance the night away and dance as if no one is watching.

The Money Bar is my favorite hangout and a regular place to visit many times when in Cozumel.

I could go on and on but the weather is sunny, warm and the crystal-clear water is calling me so I will wrap it up now with just this last few words. This is my 14th trip to Cozumel and my 5th stay at the landmark and at least my 20th time hanging at the Money Bar.....

I WILL BE BACK.......... Captain Glen D. Smith

I've been going to Chankanaub for over 20 years. This trip We decided to try something different. We went to money bar on a whim instead of the park.. Wow. The reef is just as goodfor fish, and more swim friendly. The food is excellent and more cost effective; and they have a happy hour. The best thing is that it is free.....

Without a doubt we came her 4 times as it was the best place to do snorkeling. Saw baby flounder, needlenose fish, many other colour fish (i.e. angel fish with blues and yellows). Had great food at the restaurant ...loved the guacamole!
Put it as a must on your trip things to see.

This place is well-known for combing good snorkeling and relatively reasonably priced food and drinks (by the standard of touristy places). But it's a bit over-rated. There's no real sandy beach, just a couple of sandy terraces. The quality of snorkeling may depend on the season. When we went a few days ago, there were a lot of jelly fish, stinging you left and right, making the snorkeling experience less fun. Food comes in sizable portions. The views are great. There's free wifi.
