Our first trip here was in April 2012 and then we visited again in December 2013. The 2012 trip was so good that it actually convinced us we wanted to return to Cozumel!

Our 2012 trip we used Money Bar as our cruise ship excursion. An inexpensive taxi ride from pier and then we spent the day snorkeling, lounging on the man-made beach, and enjoying drinks and nachos. We don't drink alcohol and swim, so we took advantage of their great non-alcoholic drinks. For a cruise "excursion"- the price could not be beat $24 for a great plate of nachos, and 4 smoothies, plus free use of their facilities (including clean bathrooms!), and snorkeling (we brought our own gear, but rental is available).

The snorkeling was excellent because there is no beach- the rocks and reef attract fish. There are 3 different water entries/exits (two sets of stairs, and then a pier with ladder), which is good because in the rough water, some can be more difficult than others. We usually got in through the stairs and out on the pier. There is boat traffic, so be mindful when snorkeling.

In 2013 we weren't able to snorkel but visited again for those fabulous nachos and some after dive drinks. Can't wait to go back on my next visit!

Nice to get out of the hotel a bit and snorkell here. Food is good, maybe a bit pricier than other places. Wish there was a bit more shade to escape the sun, though. Servers come to you on the beach, which is nice.

After a day of snorkeling and dolphin swimming in Cozumel, we headed over to Money Bar to take in the setting sun. Happy hour was 5-7, so we took advantage of that special! Excellent mojitos, cosmos, daiquiris, and margaritas. Also great milkshakes, too! They have an American Burger that really hits the spot. We were there on a day with no cruise ships, so it was really relaxed and uncrowded.

The Money Bar is right in front of The Landmark Resort. Just outside of town down the coastline road, this great bar sits under a huge tall hut providing ample shade for the main dining area while looking out among the water. Tables sit under the hut or even out on the sand right by the water. Serving breakfast, lunch, & dinner and it is a variety of food. The Money Bar is a fully working restaurant with a terrific horseshoe size bar table. Making all sorts of drinks with very friendly and quick service.
Now lets discuss the great menu here. Breakfast was full menu of omelets, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, fruit. For lunch or dinner you had a huge variety of steaks, chicken dishes, fajitas, lobster, coconut shrimp, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, crab or fish for your dish. We would just always keep eating at the Money Bar since we stayed at the Landmark resort. You can constantly get a new thing on the menu. The drinks are strong and you certainly have a big list of liquor to choose from. 2-1 happy hour 5-7pm. Go swim, have a few drinks with friends, and just relax in the great surrounding with very attentive waiter service.
Few other features of the money bar, they will hire bands during some nights. Boat dock allows anyone to pull right up for a stop. Great place to come dock at after boating out in the water. Here you can rent snorkling gear while swim with all the fish in the clear water. The views here are just incredible. You come here during the evening where the sun sets to the west and it is just peaceful and awesome while you enjoy your meal.
It is great getting to travel to the island of Cozumel and The Money Bar is one place you should certainly visit
