“THE BEST!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

The best meal we have ever eaten! The service was incredible. My husband asked if they served seafood soup, it wasn't on the menu but they prepared it for him.
The fresh homemade pasta, bread and sauces were incredible. We had the seafood combo and lobster alfredo and there were HUGE chunks of lobster.
The owner (a very friendly guy) gave us free appetizers of conch fritters and calamari. I don't usually like calamari but these were fantastic.Try these both. He also called up a mariachi band to perform for us.
Very good prices, especially for the quality and quantity of food.
We wish we would have visited Cozumel earlier in our holiday because we would have returned to the island a second time just to eat here.

“Great place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2013

We walked by here the other night and recalled that Prima's had been in that location near the Plaza del Sol the first time we visited Cozumel. We decided to try the successor, because Italian is always welcome, and we like the setting. The prices were moderate and we loved it! We had spinach with garlic, appetizers of conch fritters and calamari. The conch fritters, which had been a lukewarm choice due to past experience, were incredible, just scrumptiously delicate, flavorful, and tender. We could have stopped there, but we also had a simple entree of fettuccine with marinara, which was also very very good. We did not have room for the fresh key lime pie, so we brought it back to our hotel and ate it today. Excellent. They also have negro modela beer, which is not that commonly found on menus and very good. Of course, the lemonade was excellent. Lastly, the staff was friendly, kind, and brought each dish when it was appropriate. We highly recommend this place when you need a break from all the good Mexican food available, and want to be in a nice walking-around part of town.

“Upstairs, above the crowds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2013

We were told a lot of the old staff had left Prima's and returned here. I'm not so sure, the night we were here was very slow. But business is slow all over the Island. This night everyone was attentive, even the cook. We had Caprese salad and then lobster filled ravioli - both excellent. Just try and resist the garlic bread.
Its a treat to sit out, enjoy the night air, and escape the hustle of the Plaza. Afterwards you can wander the Plaza - most nights there's music - and perfomers. Definately an evening well spent.

“Stumbled on this family owned restaurant and loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

We were walking by one night and met the husband and wife team from Fox Island Washington who own this gem. The caprese salad was wonderful and the pasta with their homemade red sauce was to die for. I want the receipe! We had the key lime pie and it was wonderful and the owner had made a banana coconut cream dessert that was out of this world. We hope it makes it to the menu. When you tire if Mexican come here and habe Julian be your waiter, he is great! what ever younorder you won't be disappointed.

“Don't miss eating here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

It's across the street from ProDive shop above the tequila store. It's roof top dining it open to look around the town. You have to have the lobsters, pasta with Alfredo and mariner sauce. The combo plate. Homemade ice cream and key lime pie to die for. Bread is awesome. Try the yummy fried calamar and counch. The best is the sweet and friendly Washingtonian owner Ed Don't forget the wonderful waiter J.J. . I can't remember the chef but they make you feel like you came home. We were very impressed and had a great time.
