Owner description: A popular site for drift diving off the coast of Cozumel.

This was the second of two dives we did in Cozumel. It's a very leisurely drift dive - 1.5 to 2 knots of current - that sweeps you past small coral heads, broad sandy expanses and allows you to see various fish and marine life, lobsters, crabs etc. with little effort. Recommended as a beginners dive site.

Cozumel has lush reefs and this was another. It was not our favourite - but, like all of Cozumel, the reefs are among the most beuatiful we have seen.

this is a dive that i have done many times...it is an easy drift dive with a max depth of about 55 ft and usually good visability. typically lots of fish and other creatures...eels, eagle rays, sharks...a couple of good relatively shallow swim thrus...good relaxing dive imo

Dove this on my first dive to Mexico, glad I did, it gave me an idea of what to expect during my dive vacation.

Not too deep, I think my gauges topped at 61 feet. Many colorful fish and coral live here. A small swimthrough is close to middle of first reef. Turtles will be frequent here too.

We dove Paso Del Cedral as our second dive one morning with Aqua Safari. The dive varied from 40 to 60 feet and consists of some beautiful reefs separate by a couple of sandy stretches. The current was moderate, so we just drifted along. Lots of fish, occasional turtles, a nurse shark, and if you bring a light and check out the holes, you may spot eels or crabs.
