“Cheap and good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

Tacos for about a buck. Good pastor and chuleta and the choriquezo is excellent. Not a full bar but plenty of beer. Not many tourists back on Av 30 at Juarez but always busy.

“Fantastic tacos!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

I was looking for Taco El Pastor and hit the jackpot by going to this place.
This is where the locals hang out, didn't see one tourist during our dining and the tacos were amazing, just like you would expect in Mexico.
Perfect place for late night dinning or if you looking for just good tacos.

“Authentic and Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

After a so-so lunch at our hotel, we searched trip advisor for suggestions and were elated to come across this place. It was authentic and low key with the menu written on the wall; my family and I were the only tourists there. I would recommend the guacamole, pastor (pork) tacos, and arrachera (a juicier beef than bistec) tacos on corn tortillas. Squirt a little lime on them, ask the waiter for cheese if you wish, and you'll be hooked!

They only take cash, but will accept USD. For 5 people, we had at least 5 beers and an horchata, 2 orders of guacamole, and about 20 tacos for 504 pesos ($42 USD.) That's $10 a person for dinner, drinks, a nice tip, and a great experience. Another plus, they had nice clean restrooms! We will be back again! Thanks El Pique!

“Best Tacos!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2013

After a week in Cozumel, we finally found this place. It was the best meal we had the entire vacation. Cheap, yummy and close to the square. I wish we'd found it earlier!

“Are you kidding me?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

El Pique is the place to eat in Cozumel. They are not a 5 star restaurant (probably not a place to plan your proposal or other momentous life events), but if you want good tacos this is the place to go. I feed my family of 3, stuffed full of tacos, soda, and beers before we walk out the door, for under $25 per meal. This place can't be beat in Coz. It is literally our second favorite thing about Cozumel after the diving. Our son even proudly wears his El Pique shirt around town back here in Colorado. Yeah, we love this place.
