We stayed at the resort and it was awesome. We had free breakfast with the restaurant and it was always good. I had "The Blue Angel breakfast" which was 2 eggs, bacon (turkey bacon), potatoes and toast, the wife had the pancake breakfast and substituted the eggs and bacon for fruit, she always enjoyed hers.

The dinner menu was hit and miss for us. The wife had the tortilla soup and really enjoyed it, there was fresh avacodo and cheese in it. I had the burger and it was horrible. I would not reccommend it at all. It was the texture of salisbury steak and flavorless. Because of the bad burger I was hesitant to try anything else.

We also tried the combo chicken/steak nachos on our arrival night and they were just ok. Meat was chopped to teeny tiny bits which was undesirable.

The music nightly 7-9 was really really good. We enjoyed hearing it from the resort room balcony, great acoustic guitar.

We stopped here for lunch on our recent trip without much expectation and we were very impressed. First the view is awesome, eating right on the water is great. The service was just ok to decent but the food more than made up for it. I had the Chimichanga and it was by far the best one I have every had. Many are greasy at other restaurants, this was lightly fried perfectly. My wife had the burrito with salsa verde topped on it and she raved about it. The portions were just rightly sized, and decently priced. We will not hesitate to go back at least once on our upcoming trip.

What a special place to dine! Over the Caribbean in a palapa with soft guitar music and great food. Love their Eva's salad! Good sangria! Not easy to find but worth the hunt!

The owner Eva was on a working vacation when we arrived. She has great employees. Our stay was so good that we only left the grounds three times in one week. Everything is right there. They have a 24 room hotel, an awesome restaurant and a world class dive shop an school. All this comes with a water view and really good rates. You relax as soon as you register and are greeted with a complimentary beverage and well spoken bilingual employees. Awesome. Already miss the place

My wife and both thought the food was so-so. We went there twice, not so much for eating but to listen to Abraham Ramiriz play his guitar. Abraham was really good and worth going here for him and next for drinks.
