“Simply Spectacular!”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

We travel to Cozumel twice a year to SCUBA dive and always have dinner at least once at Kinta. The chef is innovative and creative, combining flavors of the islands which always please the palate. Our server this past visit, "Jimmy", was exceptional. He was incredibly pleasant and polite. He even permitted me to practice my Spanish with extreme patience. Kinta has recently opened another restaurant on the island called Kondesa which has equally innovative and savory entrees. The wine selection and ambience cannot be beat. A MUST for diners who desire ambience and excellent food delivered by professional and eager staff.

“Change from the classic Mexican fare.”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Kinta uses high quality ingredients. When you're tired of eating the same Yucatacan fare and are looking for more creative food, Kinta fits the bill.. It is inventive, tasty and fresh. The space is very charming and romantic, especially the rear outdoor patio area. Staff is very accommodating and were eager to make my vegetarian dinner companion happy-and they did! Salads are interesting, they have specials and everything is presented with a delicate touch. This is the sister restaurant to Kondesa, located on 5th but further south.. Kinta is more bistro style, but both are great additions to the Cozumel dining scene.

“You have missed a culinary gem in Cozumel if you dont go here!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

Kinta was the best dining out experience I had in Cozumel. Superb setting and I especially like the outdoor garden area. The fish dishes here are just divine! I had freshly caught wahoo served with cilantro rice and tasty veggies and my other half had the scallop and shrimp wraps - both were so so tasty and beautifully presented. The staff seem very attentive but not too in your face, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality of the food.

I would certainly recommend that anyone visiting Cozumel visits Kinta at least once during their stay. We ended up going 3 times and it delivered every time!

Great food! Great atmosphere! If I didn't know better, I would have thought I was in the bay area. Best to make a reservation.

“Great food at great prices”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

Of all the places we ate in Cozumel, Kinta was without question the best by far. Fresh fish, very well presented in a quiet little location on 5th Ave. The prices were also excellent compared to other places we visited. Only negative was the bad weather, which meant we ate indoors. Still the food and service more than made up for not getting to be outside.
