We stayed both in the dorm and in the private room during our week there. It's clean, well maintained and there's always nice travellers around, open for a conversation, a common cooking or a beer in the wonderful garden area. The friendly owner Kathy helps you in any questions, so enjoy!

Stayed for four nights in dorm beds as a couple. Wasn't high season but about 8 other people in hostel initially. Dorm room very clean and serviced daily. Hot water showers, AC in room which Is switched on overnight and ceiling fans. Fans were a little high and when asked immediately turned off no problem. Nice garden and pool lots of info on plants and trees. Kitchen was cleaned daily and good range of cooking equipment. Water refills for a small fee were a welcomed touch. Board games and book exchange in common area. We liked the area but it wasn't in the centre there's still lots of restaurants within a 2min walk and a grocery store round the corner. We easily and safely walked into the centre several times a day. Feels lovely and private, don't be put off my high fence you will see when you get inside it's worth the walk!

Very pleasant place to stay, chill out! Little bit far from the town centre, but in quiet part of the town, big garden (you can even taste the fruits!), you can relax in a shadow in a hamaka so as in a chair or in the pool, escape from heat...nice.

The was the cleanest hostel I've every stayed in. My friends and I stayed in the Avocado room with 3 single beds and private bathroom and a small kitchenette. Kathy was very knowable, her explanation and intro is a bit long. She runs a tight ship! Which in turn keeps the property clean and well carried for.

My teenage son and I stayed in the Avocado (private) room as part of a seven night, five dive package from Deep Blue dive shop. The location is about six blocks from the waterfront and about 10 blocks from the dive shop. Nice accomodation, the owner was very helpful, gave us an orientation of the whole city and island when we checked in. I particularly enjoyed interacting with the other guests there, a very international collection of young travelers. The wifi was quite dodgy the first couple of days, and, the owner being away for a couple of days, the staff was clueless. I noticed the router was mounted on a wall outside the room, with an external antenna. I rebooted it by unplugging it and re-plugging it in and wiggled the connection between the antenna and the router, and voila! Probably the best wifi connection I have EVER had anywhere (I downloaded some large files onto drop-box at the fastest rate I have ever experienced).
