Second stay at this hotel. Great snorkeling off the dock. Very clean. Rooms are rather Spartan but have all the amenities necessary. WiFi in lobby. Better stay during the off season but never felt crowded in pool or out door areas. Quiet rooms even on new years with hotel sponsored party going on.

We fell in love with Hotel B over New Year's eve weekend. I'll admit, there are a few things that some might say make this a four rather than a five, but our overall experience was so nice I'd prefer to round up. Christian, the front desk manager, was outstanding. He communicated with me throughout our reservation, making sure that we had rooms that could accommodate my husband, who has a disability. We had reserved two rooms and when one of the rooms' AC broke down just before our arrival, Christian came in on his day off to ensure that we had another room paid for at the next door hotel, were comfortable getting over there and checked in, and then had our room ready to go the next day back at Hotel B. The view and location simply can't be beat. The pool and ocean area are outstanding. While there is no actual sand beach as this is on the north side of the island where it is rock, they have created a beautiful beachfront area that is comfortable, has a variety of options for sun and shade, and is incredibly relaxing.

I did yoga two of the four days we were there and loved both instructors. You really can't beat starting your morning on the edge of the ocean with a nice yoga flow. We also did the snorkeling and paddle boards. Again, can't say enough about how easily accessible and nice both activities were. There is a great little cove that allows you to get easily into the ocean - just be careful of the sea urchins! the staff was very helpful in getting us in and out of the water with our paddle boards and making sure we didn't step on any urchins or get cut on rock. We were also lucky enough to be there when one of the locals brought her slack line along to set up for New Year's Eve day fun and taught the kids how to slack line. Not a regular activity they have, but it was a lot of fun for them to learn. They also partner with Scuba Du for scuba diving and we took a wonderful diving trip with them. If you are looking for something with lots of activities particularly for smaller children, you may want to make sure what they offer is right for what your kids enjoy. We did see families with younger kids and were able to make a tour reservation with a local company for one of our days as well with stuff to do.

The staff was outstanding and friendly. The waitstaff was wonderful and worked very hard to make sure we had what we needed. We enjoyed the food but it was nice to get out into the town for some variety. The food and drinks were a tad expensive, so it would have been nice to have a mini fridge or something in the room to keep waters/beverages so we weren't always ordering from the hotel. That was more of a planning thing on our end. The rooms themselves were very clean and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job.

Overall, this was a beautiful and outstanding experience and we would love to get back there next time we were in Cozumel.

Spent New Year's "weekend " at Hotel B, and If we have a chance, we will be back! The view was great, the service was excellent, the rooms were clean, and everyone was pleasant and accommodating. There were some hiccups with rooms, as an air conditioning unit failed in a room we had reserved, but everything was fixed and it all worked out great. New Year's Dinner was good, not great, and there were some distractions, but it was New Year's on the Beach! We took 2 teens, and they enjoyed every second of their trip. Thanks Hotel B for a Great New Year's vacation!

My family and I spent New Year's Eve at Hotel B , paid 850 pesos per head for 4 course meal and entertainment which was a saxophone player and accompanying dj's who on a couple of occasions mucked up the background music and she had to stop playing till they worked out what they were doing. She tried hard but with several children blowing hooters all the time it was all very distracting. As for the food, one course was shredded lettuce with half a grape in each corner of the plate and a single grape in the middle with a small amount of blue cheese on it , what a joke, needless to say we didn't make it to midnight went home and enjoyed the fireworks from player del carmen across the ocean - wont be back

We decided to go out for New Years Eve dinner & boy what a mistake! I always try & be positive on trip advisor however our set menu dinner cost $80US for a "4" course meal & unlimited "champagne".
Our four courses included one entree was a bit of shredded lettuce, 2 grapes & the tiniest spot of blue cheese, a soup of three cheeses which was so rich only 1 out of 4 of us could finish, the chicken main was nice but very simple & my parents pork was dry like it had been cooked hours before & not looked after, desert was "apple crumble" which was 2 pieces of tinned apple covered in chocolate mouse, not sure how that makes apple crumble. The champagne was given at half a glass at each pouring & the waiters put pressure to buy wine at cost with our main meal which we thought was already overpriced.
Long story short we ate, left, and enjoyed new years eve on our condo balcony which is where we should have stayed the whole night!
The positive out of the experience was the setting was absolutely beautiful & the new french waiter was fantastic, if it wasn't for him we would have had a terrible time because at least he could understand that the food quality was terrible.
Either they need to get a new chef in, or be more prepared to cater for large events if thats what they are planning on doing.

Room Tip: We didn't stay at the hotel.

i had never wrote a negative review i try to look at the positives. this hotel is not bad by any means it just very basic. i was there and was unaware of the triathelon (my mistake) so that sunday most of the island was closed for the race. but there are better places to stay, i had trouble getting served for complimentary breakfest, drinks are very expensive so take advantage of happy hour 5-7 where its 2 for 1 then the poolside bar closes and you must go inside, again its not a bad hotel and i travel to cozumel at least 5 times a year and stayed at most hotels
