“Rich with Marine Life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

This was the last dive of my trip, or shake dive at about 50-60 feet. I couldn't have asked for a better farewell. Keep in mind the current is strong, so swimming back against the current to catch a glimpse of that critter kills your air. BUT, I saw the most marine life on this dive. Turtles galore, a nurse shark, stingrays, stone fish, trumpets fish, lobsters, huge crabs, and the biggest moray eel I've ever encountered. Everytime I turned around there was an incredible animal. Great dive.

“Monster Lobsters!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2013

I had no idea how big Lobsters could grow until my dive here...! Aside from that, lots of colourful fish to see as well as Crabs, Barracuda and more. Amazing to swim around such a large reef and through 'tunnels' in it. I thoroughly enjoyed the dive here. The current didn't seem to be anything unmanageable, though perhaps it's stronger in some areas...good to be aware of it anyway.

Sorry, no photos...my camera won't stay waterproof at this depth =)

Very colorful, tall reef, I saw 3 lobsters and a shark with 3 fins, very nice dive, the current is strong but that makes it more fun

“Can be moving fast!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

Nice dive spot but at times it can have some current so you need to know what you are doing and have your weights correct. Usually see lots of marine life at this spot.

“Beautiful dive site, moderate current”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2012

Tormentos reef is another one of our favorite dive sites. Coral and marine life is pretty abundant here and currents are moderate, again depending on the time of year and conditions. Depth averages about 50-60 feet for most of the dive, but it's easier to go deeper, so it's important to watch depth, especially as you get distracted watching the turtles, barracuda, and eels.
