Owner description: Brightly colored brain and star corals, sea fans and lots of sea life make this a popular diving site, especially for night diving.

Lots of life after dark. Octopus, Crabs, Lobsters, Sea Stars and Cucumbers. Just a beautiful dive. Not that any dive in Cozumel isn't wonderful.

It was like diving in the zoo: big cruise ship in a vicinity and no more than 10 other diving boats beside our own. Plus a glass bottom boat. Poor those passengers paying for staring at 100+ divers below. Sad, sad location, really. I would recommended it only as a destination for your night dive.

We walked over to one of the recommended dive shops and they would not accomadate the 3 of us on a discover dive. We walked back to the ferry dock to the 2nd tour company with the scuba flag. We were not certified so we needed to take the course. It was $115 for the course, beach and reef dive. They took us to the beach and then out to Paradise Reef. The dive masters were very helpful and considerate of different abilities of divers. We went down between 30 and 45' in depth. The water was extremely clear and it was a reef full of various coral, fish and sea creatures. One of the eels went straight for me as a mid afternoon snack, but I was too fast for him! I had left my camera on the boat, and one of the employees ran a block to give it back to me.

As a new diver, this was an easy, shallow dive, lots to see - saw a nurse shark, sting ray, eagle ray, beautiful coral and annenomes.
