We were hesitant to head to this park, because we had heard that they good snorkeling was far out. And that is true. Luckily they have kayaks to rent to help you get out there if needed. I didn't snorkel because the sand was so soft. It was unlike a lot of the other sand in Cozumel, so it was fun to sit and play in it. The water is very clear and a school of white fish chose to hang out around our group the whole time we were in the water. That was much cooler than snorkeling! There was also a big floatie in the water for the kids to play on. We had so much fun!

The lighthouse was also very cool. You could see the whole island from up top. I highly recommend it!

The beach is amazing -- like something from a movie. My family went snorkeling on the reef and saw a sea turtle, a barracuda, an octopus, eels, and all sorts of beautiful fish and coral. They said it was one of the best experiences they have ever had. We saw lots of iguanas all over the park. The park is very natural and beautiful -- doesn't seem overly "touristy" and corny. The view from the lighthouse is breathtaking. The lunch we had there was a nice buffet -- very simple and not too fancy, but delicious. I wish we had gone earlier in the day to enjoy more of the park.

We visited this site because our guide book said there was "great snorkeling" off the beach. (Our 12-year-old son was especially hoping to see a sea turtle.) It's a long drive from the park's entrance to the beach. When we arrived there and asked about snorkeling, the guy pointed to a red buoy that was at least 300 feet out from shore and said, "Go there and turn right." Too far for our son. We did enjoy swimming in the waves there (very calm), and there's a nice hammock/chair area, too. The changing areas were fine, with outdoor showers to get the sand off.

Again, if you're coming here because you've heard snorkeling is easy from the beach, I'm just letting you know it's a long swim out, not suitable for children or even pre-teens.

There you can have an idea of haw wildlife is. You see so many different birds, crocodiles, mangle, it is a very quiet place where you can walk and stay there steering at the nature.

Booked the tour through out resort. We took ATVs through town to this park, it was a blast. The park was very interesting, kept very natural, and clean. You see the lighthouse, Mayan version of a lighthouse, crocs and etc.. The beaches and views were remarkable and unbelievable. There were vendors selling stuff, a buffet to eat, place to sit and drink, or lay in the sun. You may snorkel in the beautiful waters...Nice place to relax and enjoy Cozumel, Mexico.
