Then the Alligator park. We climbed the Lighthouse. then drove to eat lunch and tour the Tequila factory. Long day full of fun.

“Great place to snorkel...at beach and visit the lighthouse”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2013

Go up to the top of the light house and get a beautiful view...Head further down to the beach and go out snorkeling...one of our favorite places...along the way stop and see the crocodiles and you may see wild life as you drive down the road...great place, price is questionable...especially if you go there more than once during your stay and if that is the case they suggest you go to the museum in the center of town and purchase a pass...it's about $12 a day to get in (I think that is per person but I am uncertain that may be per vehicle)

“Great, beautiful getaway from the hordes”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

Getting to the beach at Faro Celarain is half the fun. It is at the tip of Cozumel Island and at the end of a long dirt road. Along the way, we saw a wild pig, lizards, and birds, birds, birds! There is a small Mayan ruin there too (El Caracol) and an overlook of a marshy area with larger reptiles (i.e. crocs). Once at the beach, there are hammocks and lounge chairs waiting for you (no charge) and they will supply towels ($3 each). Great snorkeling and a colorful reef just within a short swim. FYI- It is $12 per adult & $8 per child for entrance to the Faro Celarain (Punta Sur) Eco Park. A boat ride around the lagoon is included in the price.

“This is a can't miss for your trip to Cozumel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

Our trip to Faro Celerain (aka Punta Sur) was a highlight of our time in Cozumel. We had an awesome guide (George) who not only gave us a tour but took a bunch of great photos of my husband and me. The park itself is incredibly scenic and filled with wildlife. My husband walked up to the top of the lighthouse and said it was worth it for the view. We can't wait to return during the season when the baby turtles are nesting there.
