“Stingray Beach Cozumel”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

We came to Stingray Beach from our hotel at Cozumel Palace, which was just down the road from the attraction. We received complimentary t-shirts with the name of the business and our hotel on it. We were briefed shortly what to expect. The activity was in two parts. During part one we were able to interact with the stingrays that were in a pen. The stingers were cut off, so there was no danger. Pictures and a video were taken, with hopes that the guests would purchase them. We did purchase the photos, as the price was very reasonable. It was very enjoyable to pet and touch the stingrays.

In part two we snorkeled freely among the fish and stingrays within the penned area. It was a nice experience.

After coming out of the water, we were able to interact with the parrots and iguanas, taking pictures as we please. Everyone in our group like the activity.

“Stingrays up close”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

If you've always wanted to learn about Stingrays this is an experience for you. You get to get up close and personal, yes, even kiss one if you'd like. The guides were very knowledgable and funny. This encounter was a great way to learn more about these creatures. However, when feeding the stingrays, it gets a little crazy. The stingrays are quite aggressive and bump/push you. The snorkelling was a little sketchy as you are kept in a very small area and are warned not to touch the underwater fence. There are bouncy trampolines that cover much of the snorkelling area. The whole time you snorkel, a guide constantly feeds the fish so you really get a great view of the fish and the stingrays. There is a bar for your enjoyment and all of the equipment provided was in great shape.

“Good if you get a deal”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

We got a 2 for 1 deal and that's about what this was worth. Way too many people. between 60-70 people at one time was too many. Sting Rays were cool, but you had to pose for a pick to get to hold one. Kinda tacky.

“Touristy, ok tour”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

This tour was an added inclusion to our stay at the Cozumel Palace. The attraction has all the amenities one could want (food, beach, shower, restroom, etc.). The stingrays are interesting and getting to feed one is quite an experience. The staff is helpful and engaging. The major drawback is being herded around as a group (not my thing) and the long period getting pictures of everyone holding a stingray (available for sale of course). Since it was "free" I'm glad we did it, but would not do it again.

“Interesting place to visit”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

We had a great time feeding the stingrays and getting to know more about them. They also have snorkeling, which was pretty good. We did this as part of a resort credits tour from Palace Resorts.
